These kids if only Febas got some minutes too. I think it's time to move on from Benzema. Morata and Mariano are deadly
Odegaard had a 10/10 the only thing missing was the goal.

watched the last few minutes.
enzo and odegaard looked way better than james.
I was finding it hard to tell the difference between first teamers and castilla players
Tejero is another carvajal, excellent game

Was he that good? I missed the game, but I really wanted to watch him in action for the first team. His silky touches and his football intelligence is football porn, imo

Casemiro looked slow and was missing some tackles. Not match ready

@thimmy, Odegaard was awesome. Every pass was perfectly weighted. His dribbling was magisterial and he was hustling for the ball. Spot on game from him

His son actually looked good. Definitely not out of place.

Timmy, other than not getting a goal (he had a couple of chances), his play was perfect. Note, he was far more impressive than James. I actually think James is now behind Lucas, Isco, Asensio and now Odegaard.
I hear he has been impressive and a team leader at Castilla this season. However, I think with his talent and development, he is wasted there. I still expect that loan to Germany will take place in January once he turns 18.

Let's look at things in the proper context here as we played... Cultural Leonesa. They're a Segunda B team. I don't think you can take ANYTHING from this game other than we won.

Re: Real Madrid vs Cultural Leonesa
didn't watch the game, but from what you all have said it seems a lot of kids got minutes and our starters rested. that's always good. i'm not sure i'll bother with highlights of this, after the first leg i assumed this to be a forgone conclusion.....unless we did something foolish like field a suspended player, a mistake a club so professional as ours would never make

You disappear and upon return this is what you have to offer? Did you even bother to watch the game? You don't seem to be able to enjoy anything!
I found the game a joy to watch. It was kids playing against a 3rd level team. They looked great, noone is saying that will carry over to tougher opposition, but it did show what talent we have. In comparison to Barca who could only manage a tie against a same level club, I say we did pretty darn good.

Watched the highlights. Nice goals, nice link up play and I imagine that we actually have some good talent coming through. Don't mind the opponent, the football in question was nice. If I were there, would have been money well spent.
Odegaard looks like he is coming along nicely.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not surprised to hear that James didn't perform well. He's hardly been putting any effort into it lately, and he seems content with sub-par performances.

Just watched this. I feel bad for Ødegaard. He got into good positions so many times, but never received the ball. I suppose he's used to it, playing for Castilla
