Re: Cancel the title charge. Liverpool are done this season.
tbh I like klopp he is the best manager Liverpool could have hoped to get and going forward we are a top class team but imo he does not have the first clue about how to make us tight at the back. seems like everything is all about pushing everyone forward not a thought goes into defending. and as soon as the team lose 1 goal panick sets in and players are all over the place. instead of trying to keep it a bit tight to weather the storm we just throw more men forward and leave more space at the back. how many times have Liverpool played badly and won a game 1-0 under klopp. we have lost a 2 goal lead 4 times under klopp. all klopp does to try to fix the problem is swap players around. the tactics never change. we don't even make teams work hard for a goal we just give them away. just look at conte at Chelsea. he saw a problem went back on the training pitch and changed a few things and now Chelsea give nothing away and no body can tell me chelsea have world class defenders in there back 4.

klopp has improved the team a lot in some areas but the getting turned over and giving away bad goals is the same now as it was under Rodgers. also you have to take into account is Liverpool have more of the ball and dominate most games so the other teams don't have a lot of chances to score yet we give goals away. when we had that good run I looked up the stats and most of the teams we beat had about 40% of the ball and 1-2 shots at goal. but every time a team has a real go at us we fold under the pressure.Jay29 wrote:Liverpool's defensive issues are exaggerated. The Bournemouth screw up is more down to poor game management than a poor defence, while West Ham scored a 30 yard free-kick. Before this blip they the last time they lost was the Burnley game at the start of the season, which isn't bad a for a team that apparently can't defend.
They're third in the table with only two defeats, score a lot, play great football, and by all accounts are having a much better season than they did last year. There's been clear progress under Klopp. A couple of poor results shouldn't dampen the enthusiasm.

Re: Cancel the title charge. Liverpool are done this season.
Once again I called it right.
No team can sustain their dominance without their 3 best players missing months of the season.
Coutinho won't be back to his early season form for another month or so. His fitness looks horrible. Matip got bent over by FIFA for no apparent reason. Losing Mane in the most important part of the season It wouldn't have mattered much if Coutinho was at least fully healthy and fit but that's not the case.
Congrats to Chelsea on the title. Will congratulate United on EFL cup win as well once Soton knock our weakened team out.
