Anthony Modeste finally living up to his youth days hype? Empty Anthony Modeste finally living up to his youth days hype?

He was predicted to become a world class striker back in his Nice days before failing to fill the void left by Chamakh at Bordeaux when he left to Arsenal.

Top scorer of the Bundesliga with 11 goals, just scored a hattrick today. hmm

Now thats a name I have not heard of in a long time.

Good for him but then again its Bundesfodder. Papiss Cisse looked like Van Basten there hmm

Did not know he had a youth days hype

Didn't even know he was French

he was decent already at Hoffenheim though, I remember one game at the end of Pep's first year where we couldn't tame him

ended 3:3 I think. Thiago tore his knee ligament too in that one IIRC

Every season somebody outside of Bayern and Dortmund goes absolutely crazy in Bundesliga.

2015-16 - Hernandez 26/5, Raffael 15/13
2014-15 - De Bruyne 16/28, Meier 20/3, Dost 20/7
2013-14 - Firmino 22/16
2012-13 - Kießling 27/10
2011-12 - Huntelaar 48/14, Reus 21/14, Pizarro 18/10
2010-11 - Cisse 24/1, Novakovic 19/6
2009-10 - Dzeko 29/13, Misimovic 14/20, Ozil 10/29
2008-09 - Grafite 35/10, Dzeko 36/12, Gomez 35/8, Misimovic 11/27, Diego 21/11
2007-08 - Van der Vaart 21/16, Diego 19/16, Gomez 28/4

Seems like he will modeste-ly get himself into this list.

The numbers are goals/assists in all comps for a player playing for a German team during that specific season.
