Yeah we had luck on our side on a lot of games except for the Roma one. I'm predicting something like a 5th place finish for us. 3rd is definitely achievable, if we maintain our newly acquired consistency of beating scrub teams I can see us finishing 3rd.

@zigra he only came in late those to start getting form. He was for a long time, and there was no need to rush him when Pjanic behind Higuain and Mandzukic hit form. Losing Dybala again would be a disaster

Higuain has been so clutch in most of the big games Juve had this season. He just needs a crucial goal in the knockout CL stage to cleanse his choker reputation.

To defeat Juve in Turin you gonna need luck on your side, loads of it. I think Spalletti granted Juve the first half by playing with Gerson upfront. 2nd half was much better, worthy of an equaliser at least.

Gerson .....I like the kid, but I also felt sorry for him too today. He wasn't ready for a game like this, especially when most of his minutes have been coming in the EL. He (via Poobah) basically handicapped us going forward. His time will come, but games like this just show it's not even close at the moment. That said, Poobah had very little choice given that SES and Salah were both carrying knocks.

As for the rest of the game, I'll take this L easily. 1-0 against the champions on their own patch with 5 of our best players out is nothing to be ashamed of. We've lost far uglier games against them than this with decided better XIs. Manolas' injury will put further pressure on us though.

Ok, a bit of hyperbole, EPL has a slightly bigger gap between first and second, but still Serie A is getting there unless some of the clubs start picking it up.

Inter should have scored at least 4 goals. Sassuolo GK was fantastic. But Inter were bad with their finishing too
