So are you saying we would've had a better chance at winning the CL with Pogba versus with Jiguain?

Marchisio is coming off an ACL tear, the only serious injury of his career. He's been back since October and hasn't missed a game, so that point alone is not true... its completely false.

For the record, I love Pogba. He's amazing but I think both clubs can be happy with the result of this transfer. We got a great sum for a great player. United finally got a player they can depend on in the midfield after many, many, missed transfer targets in recent seasons. Pogba's valiant effort to secure a draw this weekend while nearly peaking into CL spots is an amazing feat for a club like United, after all.

As for Pogba, he had a bad game, got too hyped for it and let the occasion of the rivalry get to him.

He's been fantastic for us for 2 months and counting, but of course people latch on to his one poor performance.

Well, at least those plebs have gotten over their delusion. Serious question to Juventis on the forum. Was he like this in Italy too? I mean his off-field antics. Like the lad has had at least 5 new hair cuts already I reckon since joining us. Its friking cringe and frustrating. How can he not realize he aint helping himself by this clown act and is instead making himself an easy target for his critics.

Yeah the haircuts thing started some time in his third season. No one gave a crap really because he was beasting. In the end we had no reason to be bothered by his looks or social media because he was fantastic for us.

The first half of last season was when it was pissing people off because he struggled, and started to play 'like a star'. By that I mean attempting all sorts of shots and unnecessary stuff when the team needed calmness. After Marchisio came back and the team became steady, he got it together and put in an amazing second half of the season.

IMO Pogba just made a terrible move in sporting terms (not trying to troll here). He had a manager that had the perfect role for him and players around him that knew him inside out (Marchisio, Bonucci, Chiellini, Asamoah, etc.). He would be playing this season with no added expectations and could have picked up from his great finish last year and continue to grow. He could have clowned around to his heart's contempt and still succeeded because he grew as player together with our system.

I still think he will eventually adapt, calm down, and succeed.

that said, think it's time clubs started to be wary of Serie A, almost on even grounds with Eredivisie in terms of producing frauds IMO, you only need to look at the list of utterly CRAP players that dominate that league over the last half decade or so but have flopped everywhere else. Joke of a league and I'd stay away from signing anything but defenders in the future from there. Even Dybala gets hyped to the moon and isn't that half as impressive as Juve fans would like you to think.

Also, I was saying over and over again during the summer how I much rather us sign Kante + Matuidi + Hames (lol forget about those last two tbh) for that money

Not as much as at United right now because thankfully we had the old guard at the club who kept him grounded.

He's totally become a businessman at United right now and realizes he can make a lot of money by just representing the club. His self-promoting has gone to another level now, all this while being the world's most expensive footballer and not even being 1% of what Messi, Cristiano etc were doing at the same age.

GTFO. It is not Juve's fault that your club is a mess. The list of players flopping at United extends far and wide and comes from every country. Di Maria, Falcao, Depay, Schneiderlin, Kagawa, etc, etc, etc. You wanna see crap players? look around the top teams in the PL.

Its not like two of the best players in your poverty league were formed in Serie A, Alexis and Coutinho. The coach that won the league last (Rainieri) and the coach who is running away with it (Conte) are from Italy. Marcos Alonso signed from a midtable Serie A club and has become the best LB in the PL.

The answer to your bad results is nowhere other than how your club is run.

Just because the TV rights are higher for BPL doesn't make it the best league in the world (which is La Liga in Spain).

All teams suck equally, that's why you have parity in GOAT league. From City to Watford everybody overspends on every scrub they scout, therefore messing up with the market values 100x more than the Chinese/Qataris/Americans ever did.

There is not even parity. Last year Leicester has a bigger gap than Juve, Bayern or Barca. Same thing this year, Chelsea already has 10 points from the only "real" contender.
