Re: General Games Discussion
The Civilization series have consistently been one of the best (if not the bust) turn-base strategy games.
However, after paying full price for Civ V and then seeing it MASSIVELY improve with its expansions. Not to mention the DLC. I am going to probably only buy Civ VI Two or Three years later with everything included in one purchase.

Re: General Games Discussion
Been watching reviews of Battlefield 1 and i'm definitely getting it as soon as i get paid.
The reviewers are absolutely glowing in it's praise of it, GL putting me off with their scrub opinions smh.
The new mode operations sounds *bleep* amazing.

Re: General Games Discussion
Still convinced you all hated it because of that Conquest garbage tbh.
Everyone from reviewers to NeoGAF seem to be praising the game very highly.
Anyway even if it's like being described i'll have no problem playing it by myself.

Re: General Games Discussion
IIRC I came close to getting 'plat' for Infinite after 1 playthrough on 360, I only needed some tapes and to play through on hardest difficulty IIRC, so that one will be quite short for you too

Re: General Games Discussion
Looking forward to infinite.
Looking back to bioshock 2 now, it didn't really add anything to the story. It felt forced most of the time and you could hardly relate to anything going on. I am not sure what they wanted to achieve. I greatly enjoyed my 2nd playthrough of Bioshock 1 and loved the story even more. But with Bioshock it actually made me realise how average it is and I'd drop the rating from 8/10 to 7.5/10 lol
Also a question regarding infinite. Is the supposed twist/spoiler/controversy related to Andrew Ryan? I may have seen a spoiler but i am not sure.

Re: General Games Discussion
Thank f for that
unintentionally read that you play as Andrew Ryan in Bioshock infinite. Not sure how that makes sense.
I don't get one thing about BS2. If it's placed 10 years after BS 1, how is Andrew Ryan still alive?

Yea but for continuity's sake it makes no sense how he suddenly had a beef with Lamb when it was never mentioned in bioshock 1. And all of his audio tapes sound like they were recorded after his death in correlation with BS2.
initially i thought BS2 was a prequel lol
@mole
All i searched was "Was Andrew ryan alive in bioshock 2" and first link said "You play as Andrew ryan in infinite!!!"

Re: General Games Discussion
No autosave unless its a new level.
Its only 3 hours long so might as well. Rated very highly.
Really want to start infinite but probably won't till next week.

Re: General Games Discussion
actually saw a lot of ppl saying infinite was a big step back from the previous two in terms of gameplay, not sure how true that is, but it did feel like a pretty generic corridor shooter to me
at least on the easiest difficulty

Re: General Games Discussion
Was disappointed they removed survivor difficulty in BS2
After a while hard gets too easy when you can spam grenade and fully upgrade spear gun/crossbow.
Heard Infinite is super easy. I am mainly interested in the story though.

Yeah, Infinite was a pretty large step backwards compared to the first two, in terms of gameplay. They basically simplified everything and focused more on the storytelling, which everyone complained about in Bioshock 2.
