Re: 2016 Golden Boy
From the ones based in Serie A its clearly Donnarumma. Diawara would come next.

Re: 2016 Golden Boy
Tah should get it but defenders don't win awards.
Agree that Rashford is favourite, but BVB's Dembele, Coman or maybe even Renato might have a chance.

Re: 2016 Golden Boy
Dembele and Coman probably have a chance. I personally do think they should be in the running. Don't know anything about the serie A players
Think Dele Alli and Rashford will be near the top though. Personally think Dele Alli has been better than Rashford but I'm also biased. Incredible debut season in the EPL and became a starter for club and country.

Re: 2016 Golden Boy
Don't think so. They've had similar stories (filling in the vacant striker position at their respective clubs and doing well) but Rashford has had some more high profile goals and more hype. Also made a couple of appearances for the England NT which will get hype as well
IMO they're about even though.

He should do, he's achieved far more than he has anyway. In fact if we are talking about accomplishment Iheanacho has quite a good case to win this.

Having a ridiculous scoring record in very short game time at the top level for a title contender?
It's more than most on that list can say.

Iheanacho has 2 PL goals in 4 apps. Rashford has 3 in 4

I'm talking about his career, he has 10 in 30 appearances at 19 years of age and most of those appearances have been off the bench in the last 20 minutes if he's lucky.
Rashford might be better but he's done nothing to suggest he is yet.

If its on accomplishments then Donnarumma has it on lock, don't know how it works though.

Re: 2016 Golden Boy
You said Title contenders. City weren't title contenders last year where most of those 10 goals came from.
Rashford has 8 goals in 15 apps in that case which is still better than Iheanacho's
Rashford scored on his PL debut, England debut, CL debut, EL debut, League Cup debut and a hattrick in his U21 debut.
At every level he was put against he proved his worth.
Not sure why Iheanacho deserves the golden boy award over Rashford just because he has a better strike rate.

Re: 2016 Golden Boy
Rashford gets a lot more minutes so it's misleading, i think you are underestimating how ridiculous his record is based on pure minutes to goal ratio.
He's 1 in 3 at 19 feeding off 15-20 minute sub appearances here and there, if he started a whole season for City he'd score over 20 league goals easy.
Because strikers are judged on goals? it's not like Rashford is any better on the ball anyway.

Re: 2016 Golden Boy
i dont even know anything about this award tbh, I'd say Iheanacho is more 'low key' than Rashford in terms of marketing because Rashman is a brave english lad, for me they're about at the same level, best young prospects in PL by far.
