Who will win the Golden Boot?
1. Luis Suarez: 28 goals
2. Cristiano Ronaldo: 26 goals
3. Ibrahimovic: 25 goals
4. Diego Costa: 23 goals
5. Lionel Messi: 21 goals
6. Daniel Sturridge: 19 goals
CR and Suarez have a 7 goal lead but I still think Messi will win it. Ronaldo and Suarez's goals have somewhat dried up these past couple of months while Messi has been on fire since his return.
EDIT: Forgot how much of a pen merchant Ibra has been this season. He could easily win it as well.

Re: Who will win the Golden Boot?
Will be a close one between Suarez and Ronaldo methinks.
We're facing a lot of scrubs over the coming weeks, so I expect Suarez to statpad. Also still have to face Norwich at Carrow Road.

Ronaldo.
Suarez will continue to play wide in most matches to accommodate Sturridge. It's for the better of the team even though most scrubs on GL dont see it and only care about the stats.

Re: Who will win the Golden Boot?
Cristiano Ronaldo because he shoots penalties unlike Suarez.
if Suarez would have shot the penalties instead to let do them to Gerrard he would have won it.

If you don't know, Cristiano Ronaldo won the Balon d'Or in January

No one thinks Ibra has a chance? Just scored his 25th of the season.

I think it'll be Ibra. The man is killing them Sunday leaguers in Ligue 1 like there's no tomorrow.

If Suarez was playing in an easier league than the Prem, he'd win it then
Now it'll probably be Zlatan.

Had he been the one taking all those FK and PK, he'd already been past 30 goal mark in the PL. He's also miss what about 5-7 games in the start as well.

Re: Who will win the Golden Boot?
Think Messi will score something like 15 goals in the remaining 10 games. Could well reach 35 goals but I guess that wouldn't be enough so it's Ibra, Suarez or Ronaldo.
All of them at 25 but Ronaldo has 10 games left, Ibra 9 and Suarez only 8. Ronaldo's my favourite but each of them could score something like 10 in 4-5 games.
Oh I just realised Ibrahimovic is out of the race because he plays in France so his goals are only multiplied by 1.5.

Re: Who will win the Golden Boot?
Ibra has no chance, Ligue 1 is now 6th in UEFA ranking. He only gets 1.5 pts for every goal [Portuguese league is now 5th].
Its between Suarez and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Messi made a good come back after returning from injury, at one point he was 14 goals behind CR/Suarez, he's now 7 goals behind yet its still very difficult to overtake them with just 10 league games left.

Re: Who will win the Golden Boot?
I was thinking that too. Messi at his peak scores hattricks and braces for fun. Its not impossible But it would need Ronaldo out suspension or injured or something
Ronaldo has been great this year, he'll probably win it. Would love to see Suarez instead though of cos

Re: Who will win the Golden Boot?
A shit didn't realize Ibra's goals don't count as teh same amount. Yeah then it's definitely between Suarez and CR. With Messi an outside shot.

Ronaldo will win it. He is slowly getting his touch back after a somewhat slump.

Re: Who will win the Golden Boot?
Messi will overtake Suarez. Not sure about Ronaldo. Scored 9 goals in his last 6 games and he wasn't even in form at all. He is only getting into form just now. If he averages about 2 goals per game the rest of the season, which is completely normal for him, in the last 9 games after the Clasico (obviously in the Clasico he will 100 % not score at all) he should score about 18 goals. That makes it about 36 goals in total. Suarez on the other hand has only scored 3 goals in his last 6 games and he's going to play against City and Chelsea soon where he will find it more difficult to score. He's projected to score about 5 more goals which should take him to about 30. Maybe with his usual Norwich rape 33. Will be close but Messi should edge it.
I think people underestimate in-form Messi. Last season he was abot to score 60+ goals before his injury. From 07.10.12 - 16.12.12 he has scored a hattrick, 2 braces and 6 consecutive braces in 10 games and then scored against every single team in a row.
