Re: 2016-2017 Real Madrid injuries and suspensions thread
Pepe's injury is a mystery. After he got injured before the CWC there has been no updates on him. This has never happened with him before. Let's not forget he is free to negotiate with any team right now. If it's not the club then it's him, no way an absence for this long is a coincidence when his contract is running out in less than 6 months

Marcelo and Modric back in full training. That leaves Carvajal as the only injured player still out. Bale is doing light training on the training ground and is no longer confined to the gym

Basically a 2 months on - 2 months off contractual arrangement.

Carvajal joins full training. That leaves Bale as the only player who hasn't joined the group yet. He is expected to be back for the Napoli game but will obviously not be picked

I'm not counting on Bale being healthy the rest of the season but if he could keep his fitness up and pick up form, it would be a huge boost for the rest of our season.
We have really been missing the edge he gives us.

Yeah it's a bit early. He'll never make it for 3+ months.

Bale injured again. Thought it was worth mentioning
Next contract should be based on minutes played as opposed to a guaranteed annual amount...

Meh. It's better for us. He has been awful since he came back from injury. Passing has gone down, defending is half arsed, goes missing etc etc. It's reminding me alot of him under Carlo. I'd rather play with an extra midfielder anyways so it's good news for me
