Only 1 in the top 5 unless you're taking credit for Pep?

I'm surprised at how little Chelsea run. Conte would kill Juve or Italy players if they didn't run their asses off.

Kane out for 6 weeks. Luckily there was no break in the ankle.

tbf it's a very different structure of team he's taken over, and the players there are total primadonnas. He will need some time I think to really mold the team to his liking.

I not suprised that no one has mentioned Everton as team which looks solid right now. People have mentioned Liverpool after City. But I think Koeman has already started showing he can build a solid defense and attack has also started ticking. They are the second team in the table with second best GD.
Not that I care about Nevertons but they have something going on there.

Janssen has looked better this season anyway. Kane looks worn out. Time for Janssen to step up and earn a starting XI spot. Would hate for him to languish on the bench ffs he needs to be playing.

Pep has had an easier start than he did Lliga & Buli. Tough league this EPL.
Keeping with managers, Klopp who was a fav, lost my respect after his ill-informed/biased comments about Lliga vis-a-vis PL.

I didn't claim it does.
Me think he's forgotten about the pasting he got from Unai's Sevilla. Get well soon, Klopp.

Only thing still saving Spurs is there good defensive set up, once the teams in the league find a formula to get around that they'll be looking like a mid-table team again.
Have missed Dembele until this Sunderland game, Lloris for every game but Sunderland, missing Danny Rose the last two games. Meanwhile, Dier, Dembele and Walker all either went off for hamstring injury or pulled their hamstring but didn't go off (Walker). Spurs' only players in the first XI to not go to Euro 2016 were Lamela and Eriksen, so the majority of them didn't get a break and missed preseason. For a team that relies heavily on their pressing game and outrunning the opponent, this is a big deal.
In essence, Spurs have had multiple first XI members out and a lot of the ones that are playing atm are clearly not up to match fitness. Still, Spurs won all the games they should and then tied an impressive looking Everton and an impressive looking Liverpool, while not conceding from open play. Even in the Palace and Sunderland games, the 1-0's are really generous to the opposing teams, as Spurs could have scored 3-5.
That doesn't mean they were great performances though. Spurs look fairly meh and are kind of grinding out results. I agree that they don't look great, but they're undefeated and are 3rd. Arsenal lost to Liverpool, stole 3 points against Soton and tied Leicester--Arsenal haven't looked very good either.
I've watched both and I think Spurs have looked better even considering the circumstances. I feel it's a dumb discussion because I think both Arsenal and Spurs have looked subpar, but comments about Spurs going back to being "midtable" are quite frankly dumb claims, and weird for an Arsenal supporter to make considering how average Arsenal look.

Indeed, we don't have teams of the calibre of Numancia and Racing Santander in the EPL but you can only beat what's in front of you.
