He won't leave as long as Simeone is there. So 2018 at the earliest.

More of an early summer Transfer window rumor than a winter one I guess.
Only quote part of what he said, why don't you?
He said he doesn't want to leave Atleti.

Re: 2017 Winter Transfer Rumors Mk. 1
Potential replacements for Salah while he's out for AFCON:
Depay
Thauvin
Fekir
Ntep
Mbappe
Ben Arfa
Any/all of these are probably loans since each of these players (especially Depay) are relatively expensive for Roma.
Ricky Massara, our new sporting director, clearly spends a lot of time in France.

Think Ben Arfa might be the easiest to get along with Depay. Thauvin probably wants out of Marseille but they have new owners so might want to stick for a while
No chance with Fekir and Mbappe.
Ntep will be expensive.

HBA and Fekir are the two best on that list.
Liverpool are also losing Mane to AFCON, wouldn't mind a loan deal for HBA, but it won't happen I'm sure. He's not the kind of player Klopp would like.
Fekir might be an option.

Eh? I only copy pasted a tweet I saw. He might not leave in the next window (and chances of leaving could very well depend on our CL prospects). But it is looking more and more likely he would only go one way if and when he decides to leave his current club.

Fekir will be hard to get for your respective teams imo. OL does not like to sell their best players, especially the ones from their youth system. The problem is not the money but the stubbornness of the owner JM Aulas.
Ben Arfa is not Emery favourite so a loan is possible.

Re: 2017 Winter Transfer Rumors Mk. 1
If we're talking about a loan why is Fekir even part of the list? He's part of the first team. He played every time he wasn't injured or banned. That's not the type of player a club just sends out on a loan.

Re: 2017 Winter Transfer Rumors Mk. 1
Well Roma may decide to buy him (loan + option/obligation to buy), but considering this is a winter transfer window, we're probably just going for straight loans, bailing out players who aren't getting enough time.
If Fekir's not one of those players then we probably won't be approaching OL for him.

Re: 2017 Winter Transfer Rumors Mk. 1
Vidal wants Juventus reunion?
Just 18 months after leaving for Bayern Munich in a €37m deal, there are reports Arturo Vidal wants a return to Juventus.
The Chile international walked out on the Bianconeri in the summer of 2015, just weeks after losing the Champions League Final to Barcelona.
He said there was a better chance of winning in Europe at Bayern and indeed knocked the Bianconeri out of the tournament in the Round of 16 last season.
According to Calciomercato.it, Chile international Vidal is reconsidering his position and could request a return to Turin.
Carlo Ancelotti already stated this week that Vidal talks about Juventus all the time and remains very fond of them.
It’s reported that Vidal has been speaking to Patrice Evra for weeks about this situation and feels he can convince the two clubs to discuss a move next summer.
However, Juventus were hurt by the way Vidal walked away and have no particular intention on splashing out for someone who will be 30 in May 2017

Zamparini: 'If Napoli want Nestorovski...'
Maurizio Zamparini reiterated his desire to sell Palermo, but told Napoli he’ll hand over Ilija Nestorovski “for Manolo Gabbiadini and Omar El Kaddouri.”
The patron of the Sicilians spoke to Radio Kiss Kiss and was asked about rumours hitman Nestorovski could make a January move to the Stadio San Paolo.
“He will stay here at Palermo until at least June. Of course, if Aurelio De Laurentiis were to offer me Gabbiadini and El Kaddouri, then we could talk about it."
The 26-year-old Macedonia international has six goals in 12 Serie A games this season.
“We won’t do much in the January window. Perhaps we’ll get a couple of midfielders, we’ll see. We are already at work and viewing players," continued Zamparini.
“I will leave at the end of the season. I think there’s a big chance that this Asian group will buy into Palermo and that’s very important.
“We have a letter of intent, then it takes quite a while to reach the closing. It’s good to open doors to China, the way they did in England.”

only chance of coutinho leaving would be for like 80m++, liverpool not making top 4, iniesta accepting bench role like xavi did on his last season with us, and one of denis suarez / rakitic / gomes / rafinha leaving.
other than that we're in the lead for coutinho

Re: 2017 Winter Transfer Rumors Mk. 1
Only way Coutinho leaves is we don't win PL this season and someone offers insane amount of money in the summer.
If we win the league there's no way we're going to lose our star player to rebuild again. We're going to try to move forward and build on this current team instead of losing anyone.
But if we don't win it, I can see Coutinho doing a Suarez and asking to leave but that would still require Suarez like money 65m+
Can't see Madrid or Barca paying that much for a position they don't necessarily need for next season.

Coutinho is worth 60M+ ? Really ?
I'm not sarcastic btw, just genuinely surprised by such an insane amount.

Well considering Barca bought Andre Gomes for 40m+ then 60m+ for Coutinho is not unreasonable at all.

We sold Sterling for £50m (€58m). Coutinho is much more valuable to us and much better than Sterling to us.

I'd say in the current climate and how much the big clubs are paying nowadays for good players 60-80m for Coutinho is def realistic. When is he contracted till?

unlike Suarez, Coutinho doesn't have a release clause so we have a say in it. He's also younger than Suarez when he left, got plenty of time to move to Spain in the future. Suarez was turning 28 in 5 months before his move to Barca.
At the moment it's important to him that he's first choice and a star at a place like Liverpool than a potential rotation player and not a guaranteed starter at a place like Barca. He's just gotten into the Brazil starting XI, I don't think he wants to lose that.
lol and can you believe that Coutinho is still on 70k a week. Gets paid less than Stewart Downing did for us.
He's definitely getting a new contract sometime this season or the summer.

Well you made the same mistake for Pogba at that time and then you spent 100 mln to get him back.

And if Carroll is worth 35m then it's worth 200m.
The whole he cost this much so this player must cost so much more stuff is very silly.
