Watched Doctor Strange on IMAX 3d. Was worth it.

Really enjoyed it. Great entertainment. Good acting which was expected from the cast. Didn't know Mads Mikkelsen was in it too Cumberbatch is perfect as Dr Strange.

Visually it is Marvel's best but we all knew that. Some gorgeous scenes. Nice humour too but also had the usual 'marvel humour' which can be cringeworthy if you aren't 10. But didn't really affect me.

Overall it's a lot better than the likes of Thor 2, IM3 etc. Definitely Tier 2 worthy.

This is pretty much how I feel about the movie. Felt a lot like Iron Man which I loved. Really happy that Cumberbatch is a superstar now.

Meh wanted to go watch Doctor Strange this weekend, but was only available in 3D at my cinema, so opted out. Will wait until they show in 2D

3d isn't bad for this actually. Didn't hurt my head at all for the first time.

Visually I don't agree this to be the best. Still find Guardians and Cap1 to be the best. Outside of the tiny hands, eye scene and inception stuff, it was fairly bland. Everything interesting visually here was done by the effectscompany. There wasn't a lot of great cinematography in this really. The effects are extraordinary when they hit though, even if I feel they could've worked on it a lot more in regards to the rubber people, but they'll surely get an oscar nom.

So watched the extended cut of Suicide Squad recently. Thought Joker had enough scenes, and thought for the most part the pacing wasn't that shabby.

Still though it was average if not poor compared to the GOAT superhero movies.

All the hype for the superhero movies this year, I must say we have been let down. Only Civil War delivered, so much so that it is the best Marvel movie of all time. I seem to be one of the few who really enjoyed the BvS extended cut. Deadpool I guess had success but I found it extremely bland besides the humour and constant references. Doctor Strange was average.

I don't think I can do superhero origin stories for the immediate future. It's so basic and predictable.
