urbanwhatever is a clueless dude (still supports Wenger, is happy continually losing & being an embarrassment, remember Sanchez laughing while you lose 1-5???)  who doesn't understand football. Defense is about defending as a team. Bayern went from being a crappy defensive team to one of the most solid one's with only Dante coming in thanks to Jupp & how we defended as a team. Sokratis is a WC CB & I would gladly take him at Bayern over & start him over both Boateng & Martinez. RG is a fantastic young talent & I would gladly take him at Bayern.

The others well a mixed bag - I have never rated Batra, Sven Bender was a  good pure defensive DM but hasn't adapted well to CB, Ginter is a good talent who is too young & makes mistakes - So that 1 CB is a big hole. I am not sure Toprak next season is up to that (but he was really good sometimes with Leverkusen).

Pizza, Schmelzer, Durm, etc are all decent players, decent back-ups who can start sometimes (Pizza only because he is 30+ now but he was a top RB). Much of the blame goes to Tuchel (who is a very good coach but wants to be Pep with Dortmund) - Tuchel experiments with weird 4-1-4-1 & 3-4-2-1 & what not & is squad can't adapt to that! It also depends on the mid-field, Rode & Castro are bang average & their midfield is outplayed with too much pressure on Weigl & that harms the defense.

In the end, these are the same set of Arsenal fans who get a 4th place trophy but this time are dejected of him missing CHL so they need some team to take their frustration out. Dortmund topped their group over Madrid (CHL Finalists) ,made the CHL Quarters & beat Bayern & went into the Pokal Final - They will win trophies with a very young squad
(the German Cup) unlike Arsenal !

accusing urban of "still supporting wenger" Laughing Laughing

Anyway, Weigl broke his ankle today. That's the kind of injury that damages careers, I'm afraid. Really bad news for the world of football.
