He's been so good in preseason. He's been our best CB over the preseason. Definitely put himself in contention for a starting spot. Very happy with this signing. So much better than Skrtel and Kolo.

He's looked like a proper CB, which is wonderful after having had to watch the likes of Lovren and Lucas play CB. Should partner Matip when he's fit again.
