It could just be because he had no help and played against a team of NBA players when he had scrubs. A lot of chucking when he was guarded by a 6'8 guard is not a valid choice.

I just feel like 22 year old players should be dominant. I hope he's good because Anthony Davis should have some help. Would be awful if he gets a career without any help

Russell did the exact same thing twice last season so I don't know what your point is he dominated T-Wolves last season but everyone's talking about him like some scrub despite not watching him.

Ingram's stroke looks great, which is what I said yesterday. Meanwhile Buddy Hield has a bad arc on his shot, turns 23 soon and doesn't have any elite athleticism. Can't see him becoming a good NBA player.

Basing anything on summer league is dumb imo tbh. Don't know why you two are even judging these players so early on.

Anyway, Buddy Hield was killing it last year and what was most impressive was his career trajectory. He was always good, but he improved immensely from year to year. We'll see where his ceiling is, but if he can continue with the good work ethic and improvement, there is no reason he can't be a good player in the NBA. I don't think he'll be anything terrifically special, but he can be a solid shooter, and those are always needed. Really wish the Bucks had him tbh considering Bucks need a 3 pt shooter and decided that 37 year old Thon Maker was a good choice for that.

On the other hand, Ingram has all the tools to be a special player imo.

Neither really compare to Thon though.

Summer League is a higher level than college, saying it's useless is just ignorant. Some player could play in a pick up game and it would still be something of worth to see what skills they have. I can't see Buddy Hield's skills translate to NBA.

Simmons impressive? Good lord. Besides his passing he's been pretty meh. Turns everything over, can't score, no defense. He'll be so much bette if he just becomes more aggressive. The problems aside from his shooting are all mental and can easily be fixed. Will become an all-star with a resemblance on a shot that he's willing to shoot.

I'm not even talking about their stats. I praised Ingram's shooting and form which is the same thing I'm saying I can't stand with Hield.

Also, one is 18 the other is 22. If Ingram looked he does now at 22 I'd be worried like hell. Try watching the players, there's more to things than stats.

Great player and an all time great. Won't miss him though, didn't find him exciting and he offered limited personality. But his greatness is undeniable.
