He didn't even have a big Euro tournament to help justify this price tag.. Usually big money is spent after big tournaments on players who dominated

What are they supposed to add exactly? Overpaying for a great coach is one and they did that. Other than that, they could only add rotation players like Ben Arfa and Meunier for depth. Kyrkowiak will have to compete for Motta to start (he should imo).
There's no room on the squad. It's stacked with superstars and young talent.
Juve has been spending on par with the elite since when exactly? Please Tom, tell me because I only see this season and that's because Pogba is bringing in 120 mil.
1) Don't PSG need a top quality center forward?
2) Yes PSG have spent much more money than Juve over the last few years but have they achieved anything more?

Pogba £800,000
Vidal 10.5M

Alex Sandro 30M
Add Pirlo, Tevez and Bonucci and I would say no one has done better than Juventus in the transfer market in the last few years.
Re: Build Up: Pogba to United
btw I wasn't trolling when I said it was 110m euros all in all which included Raiola's fee, those are the details being thrown around atm from what I've seen online, will have to wait until it's finalized until we know for sure, but that's quite reasonable in light of how much Juve just signed 29 yr old Higgy for if true.

Re: Build Up: Pogba to United
Juventus have accepted an offer from Manchester United for Paul Pogba. The Premier League club are preparing the contracts and documents to finalise the midfielder’s signing.
United have agreed to pay €110m (£92.7m) plus add-ons for Pogba but it is understood Juventus will announce the initial fee as €100m (£84.3m) to take account of the tax they will pay.
The final details of the deal were settled when Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, met Juventus in Turin on Thursday. Juventus had been asking United to make all necessary payments to Raiola but have agreed to give him a fee for his work on the deal. He will also receive around €20m from United.

Maybe we dint have €90M reserved for a striker but we still had reserved a good amount of money to replace Morata. This is why it's not right when people say we swapped Pogba for Higuain just because both are being announced around the same time.
Juventus will sign at least two midfielders now.
I think we wanted him to stay for another year but United's insane wages probably was the clincher in him asking to leave.

Yes, I feel like we ultimately did. At the end of the day, it's a world record fee for a player we signed for 800k. On top of that, he's not our most important player, in my opinion he's not even our best player.
Pogba is massively talented with an incredibly high ceiling and Manchester United are getting a star but if his departure allows Juventus to do something even better, which is how it is shaping up, then I'm all for it.
When were talking about this kind of money, there was always going to be only one outcome. We dodged it last summer- and maybe moving Pirlo, Pogba and Vidal all at once would have been too much but this summer it's happened and if it didn't, it would next season or the one after. Some things are just inevitable.
I hope he does well, I'll always be a Pogba fan
But I've certainly had much sadder goodbyes, Del Piero, Pirlo, Trezeguet
And as a club we've moved on from tougher departures of personalities massive to the club
As good as Pogba is, he just isn't in that bracket for Juventus
The toughest day is still to come, when Buffon plays his last game for Juve
