Probably just Juve putting out the Madrid calling them rumours to speed up the process and make us pay all the fees tbh

United have ways to check the authenticity of that claim though. Just one phone call to Flo and they'd know whether Juve is bluffing or not.

Right, learning from the mistakes from the past (De Gea saga). How can you not love Real Madrid?

There was no saga about De Gea. The guy wanted to leave and you chose to keep him against his will. United didn't open any negotiations up until the very last of the transfer window. So it's not like Real Madrid wanted to wait until the last day. And when they both reached an agreement over the transfer, Real Madrid sent you the contract at 13:39 Spanish time and United replied 8 hours later.

This is not Real Madrid's first transfer. They have bought Galacticos, much, much, much bigger than De Gea and they had no problem doing so. It just so happens that United were unprofessional about it this time.

But my point still stands, when Flo wants somebody, he makes sure to say it publicly, and the negotiations start right away. This is not the case with Pogba.

Or Real Madrid wanted Man U to do all the negotiating for them and then jump in and match the offer...  knowing Pogba prefers Real Madrid to begin with. Would avoid Real Madrid bidding against itself like it has often happened in the past.

no spanish sources reporting it afaik, obviously just put out there by Juve to speed it all up and get us to pay Raiola's fees.

I hope for Pogba's sake that Mou gives him freedom and doesn't restrict him. Pogba's going to be the most expensive player in the world, and fans are going to expect him to win games on his own. He still isn't that type of player, and it might be a while until he does become that type of player.

This has dissapointment written all over it tbh. He'll ask to leave for PSG next summer probably.
