I congratulated Inter on the win and said they outplayed Juve today. What else do you want? Are you saying Inter is a better team than Juve??

We had Higuain on the bench. If you sat Icardi would the result have been the same? We played a 3-5-2 against a 4-3-3. So 3 forwards against 2. Basic math would tell you Inter has the advantage there. You don't play a 3-5-2 against a team with 3 forwards. It usually doesn't end well. I thought it would be a tie as Juve had nothing left to score the winner. But Inter came through with that second goal so congrats to them.

But no if Allegri matches man for man against Inter and plays 3 forwards then Juve will either win or tie 9 times out of 10.

Man for man, Inter has players that are at the same level talent-wise as the Juve players, only half a decade younger.

I'd be very curious to know which players from Inter would start for Juventus

So Inter matches Juve meaning they are on the same level? No problem. We will see who wins the scudetto.

Dybala and Pjaca are quite young. Alex Sandro is 24 and a beast and will blow away any of your fullbacks. Which young players are you referring to that blow away our young players?

I can't believe an Inter fan would think you are on par with Juve simply because you won today. You lost to a beer league team 3 days ago but now you are level with Juve?

I forgot to mention Pol Lirola who is already better than any Inter fullback and is only 19. He plays for our feeder club. Not to mention Berardi who we all know has a pact to join Juve next year. Lirola and Berardi would easily be starters on Inter...

You can make an ambitious argument about how our midfield and strikers are comparable to Juve's, but defensively they simple crap on us. Sure we won the game but if we play again tomorrow id still expect Juve to win

Who cares about Berardi.

For the rest,  Juve is easily better than other Serie A teams, they are like PSG is in Ligue One,   and infact they can lose the league just if they bottle it,  and they won't do it.
Same thing said by Sarri on Saturday. .

Also for tris reason --- it was special to win this Derby d'Italia.

Besides deserving it,  probably we played our best match in last 5 years yesterday.

Inter were absolutely the better team yesterday. This was the best game they've played in a long time (with the Napoli game at the end of last season). Defeats happen just need to learn and move on. Its the derby against a very talented Inter team, we shouldn't take it for granted.

The team is out of form and the midfield hasn't found itself. Last year we were much worse at this stage.

Icardi dominated as usual. It wasn't Buffon though, it was basically everyone else.

With Chiellini playing as he is, I'm not so sure about the Juve defense either.

I was quite impressed with the 19 year old Belgium left back we have, Senna Miangue. He showed some real talent handling Dybala who is a tricky forward.

Legit thought Pol Lirola was a Penne dish with chicken (Pollo?!)

Anyways, anyone been following Franck Kessie? 19 yr old french midfielder with 3 goals in 4 games, media touting him as the next Yaya

He's too tall to be an elite fullback mate. Definitely won't make it.

Atalanta has had quite a decent number of good midfielders recently, Bonaventura, Baselli, De Roon, now Kessi

Thanks, I now have something to bump. It's not wise to use terms like "definitely" when discussing an inexact science. LOL

He is not so good imo.  Di Marco ( on loan in Empoli now, I've followed him also last year in Ascoli - Serie B , and played a Euro under 19 very good recently) is much more promising than him. Infact in Inter youth team Di Marco was the starter and Minague the bencher..

He is highly thought of in Belgium.

"Senna Miangue, le futur back gauche des Diables Rouges....Senna Miangue pourrait bien frapper aux portes de l'équipe nationale assez rapidement.

Du haut de son mètre 92, Miangue, qui a joué au basket jusqu'à ses 10 ans, n'a pas forcément le profil-type du latéral gauche. Mais malgré ça, il parvient à tirer son épingle du jeu à la fois défensivement et offensivement. "Beaucoup de gens trouvent que c'est étrange que je sois back gauche parce que je suis grand"
