I can only repeat myself, the lad is simply not interested in playing for West Ham. And they have him on a five-year contract lmao. He'll provide some brilliant moments, but will mostly be just a luxury player for them. His age means that I don't see top clubs coming for him, either. Hopefully West Ham enjoy paying those bloated wages for years to come.

Tbf I can't speak to his form in general. The only West Hame game I've seen this season was against Tottenham and he was dreadful.

Weird words from a player who just signed another 5 year deal.

I doubt there's a club desperate enough to pay up what West Ham will be asking for him. Although it's pretty obvious he's not thrilled about playing for West Ham.

You can see by his performances how much he really 'fights' and cares about West ham lol. Guy is a passenger in most games. Only waits for freekicks or to cross it in.

Billic can't do anything because he turned Payet into 'bigger than the club'

Payet should go to Arsenal, IMO he will be better than the scrub Iwobi.

While you are it, go for Ricardo Rodriguez at Wolfsburg(sinking club), we have Alaba @ LB but would have liked RR too.

Maybe with 2-3 signings & be booting out Wenger, Arsenal can start winning!

I think I, along with other people were shitting on him for mercenary like tactics and being a lazy disinterested pos, but tbh his motives seem legit or at least his distaste for playing at West Ham. I mean OM have a new owner so  maybe they have a chance to grow but they're still crap and not exactly setting Ligue 1 alight with their performances.

People were speculating he had an affair in London and moved back to save his marriage.
