it's all still around the same ball park. its not like one is saying 1 week and another one is saying 4 months. some factor in things like recovery time, ability to train on one's own, or get a start with the team. the conclusion that can be reached however is that it is yet another injury issue for bale as we have become accustomed too. and probably a bit of a lengthy injury

He seems to have lost his arguably greatest asset in his speed, and it's apparent that he's become reluctant to dribble now - which reminds me of when C. Ronaldo went through a similar transition. I'm actually thankful that Bale isn't desperately attempting to achieve what he was capable of when he was more mobile, like CR did in a frustrating number of matches before his playing style transitioned over to what it is now. I still have nightmares of him failing to outrun and dribble past Ignazio Abate, during the season where it had become very evident for everyone but CR himself that his elite- level speed was a thing of the past. We have no choice but to deal with it, and hope that Bale makes the most out of his current situation.
