New IFAB Rulings decided today

Today the IFA met to decide about some new rulings that will affect football for the future.

- 1. Video refereeing is approved for a testing phase of 2 years

30 FAs asked to test video refereeing, it is still to be decided who will get the nod

- 2. The triple punishment (penalty, red card + suspension) for certain fouls in the box will be abolished. For this, too, a two year test phase was agreed on.

Looks like a good day for football with those decisions!

We need stricter rules about diving .

What we need is offside replay, dive replay and foul/card statistics analyzer.

2 years testing time? Feels like FIFA takes more time to change policies than the catholic church...

Tbf they probably actually need the two years, there's so much to figure out for this.
