Today the IFA met to decide about some new rulings that will affect football for the future.

- 1. Video refereeing is approved for a testing phase of 2 years

30 FAs asked to test video refereeing, it is still to be decided who will get the nod

- 2. The triple punishment (penalty, red card + suspension) for certain fouls in the box will be abolished. For this, too, a two year test phase was agreed on.

Looks like a good day for football with those decisions!
