Barca just tied against Espanyol although they still have a game in hand we should still take advantage. Although Valencia has been poor this season, they are still able to step up and get a result.

Hopefully, Benitez plays a good line up here.

No Carvajal. Rip our right side. Hope we play Ramos there. Dont want to see another game of Danilo starting. Now that Barca have dropped points we find ourselves with ANOTHER opportunity to catch up. Will we take it? Will Rafa persist with BBC + James? I guess we shall she what he is made of

I think we should win this comfortably, even with Danilo and BBC playing together. Valencia isn't exactly firing on all cylinders at the moment and Neville's managerial acumen has turned out to be not as good as his punditry.

We must capitalize on Barça's draw and go level on points with them, and just two points behind Atlético. Rafa mustn't screw another golden opportunity. Had we won against Villareal, we would've been already playing for top spot. Oh well...

I'll discuss Carvajal's omission after the game. I hope for Rafa's sake that he was left out because of a minor, last-minute flu. If he loses this game with Danilo being one of the reason for it, god help him...

That's a positive of course but I'm not sure he can play that role offensively.

Well if all of BBC is playing that means v the LCM will be defending most of the time and Kovacic is better defender than Isco.I understand the decision but it is basically patch work.

Yeah in terms of structure its a plus. But sometimes i find him a bit shy on the pitch, he certainly has good enough passing to break the lines, so let's see how he helps run the attack

Not sure what to feel about this. Let's see what happens.

When Kovacic and Modric played together it was Modric the LCM . we'll see what happens though.

Also, Kovacic at LCM means we will be narrow there and they will be narrow too.Marcelo will be alone there and will have a duel to look forward with the right winger, assuming the RB tracks CR into box.

Kovacic is a better CM than both Isco and James since he played that role a lot... so it should be better.

Isco is better as the advanced CM
