Why aren't Arsenal making a move for Pep?

Do they not see the comedy happening in Manchester after Fergie? Is that what they're looking for after Wenger hiring Moyes like coach.

Because Wenger isn't leaving? quite simple really, they won't do anything unless Wenger gives the ok and there's nothing to suggest he will.

Because Wenger's contracted until 2017, the club will never sack him, and Wenger's not going to resign/retire until he's seen out his current contract.

Not saying to sack him or anything lol but you'd think at big club like Arsenal they'd sit down and see their options with the coach, especially considering the lack of quality coaches dropping today. Wenger will maybe done in

If Wenger truely cared for the club, he would tell them to make a move for Pep and that he would step down if Pep agrees.

wenger isn't leaving, and i doubt pep wants to go there. its also extremely disloyal and disrespectful if they did that to wenger

As people have said before Wenger's contract runs out in 2017, the decision the club make with Wenger will probably depend on how this and next season pan out.

I would love for Pep to be our manager, I think he would take Arsenal to another level. However Wenger has been here for nearly 2 decades and has transformed the club, I'd rather not see him get disrespected and urged out of his position quickly to accommodate someone who will spend no more than 3 years at the club.

Why would Arsenal risk sacking a club legend that's kept them a steady ship for over a decade now to go for a manager that has a short term vision / will want astronomical wages? On top of that demand a large budget with literally no guarantee of him saying "yes" as he's pretty much City bound anyways?????
