After being banned for 3.5 years, TMO has approached us about regaining access to the community. He was permanently banned for trolling and creating multiple accounts. The admin & mod team has discussed this at length and we are willing to give him a 2nd chance considering his claims, both personal and corroborated by other users who have remained in contact with him, of character growth and maturity over this period of time. He will be placed under the following conditions: 25% warning status ('on probation') for at least one year, after which he may be reinstituted as a full health member to the community depending on his actions.

What this means for other users: depending on how this pilot project evolves we will consider granting back access to other users who have been 'permanently' banned for an extensive period of time (at least 3 years). Such a process will not be rules-based and will be handled on a case-by-case basis, with analysis amongst the admin & mod team determining each case for unbanning. The rule regarding multi-accounts has not changed and violations of said rule will still be met by a permanent ban.
