Them over the top, melo-dramatic, anime-esque cut scenes, the opening would probably show Zidane in the tunnel or some other legend with a hoodie on in an empty stadium saying "The world is your playing field!" or some such thing

That 1 hr cutscene showing how to correctly curl the ball in (ala MGS3 how to hold a knife and gun)

That 4 hr cutscene after the CL final

the banter when clattermole takes down a giant robot with a perfectly placed dropkick to the shin

it's the final game of the season in career mode and you're facing chelsea in a relegation decider for both teams

you're 2-1 up at HT when a cutscene ensues of Mourinho approaching you, he hands you a disc then ominously walks away while cackling like a supervillain, you play the disc and it shows a woman - your wife, gagged and bound in your home when john terry who was supposed to be out with a hip injury limps into view

suddenly the game switches to a third person and you're tasked with making it to your house and saving your wife, you get there and defeat a coked up Terry in an epic fist fight while orchestra music is playing in the background, before he passes out due to his low stamina Terry explains that it's too late, the whole point was to move you away from the game so your team's tactics would be in shambles and that even though he was defeated, he was victorious

bah gawd

you turn on the TV and find that Mourinho got sent off for complaining about ballboys and you beat Chelsea 4-1 in the end regardless. They're relegated, you light up a cigar and salute the american flag that's draped across your living room wall. 45 minute post credits scene shows Jose undergoing facial reconstructive surgery and you hiring him as your new assistant coach.

also curious about budgets and such, haven't read into the details of this deal with Sony so I don't know where the financing is coming from

After hearing he loves Cyberpunk, that's the type of game I want tbh.

Maybe he's going to make the horror game they were making with Del Toro . It just won't be named Silent Hills , obviously. Budget aside , what's stopping him ? Who cares about the name if the game can obviously be of the same , perhaps even better quality now that he won't be restricted in his ways by any way , shape or form , by Konami ?

I guess that qualifies , as far as edgy goes ? And btw , i don't think it will take that long to make his next game. From the video Mole posted , he's makes particular note about how he wants his studio to be agile , relatively small , in order to work faster and more efficiently .

It's way to soon to make any sort of accurate predictions of course, but if he's correct in what he expects from his new studio , it's not crazy to assume this game can be available early in 2017 . I read somewhere in an article , author saying he would be very surprised if we won't hear about this game during first E3 of 2016 even .

Witcher 3 is technically "edgy " as is Bloodborne so I don't agree Firenze

Sony will finance most of it but probably won't be given a huge budget.
