I need information about this tbh.
Usually, I thought a game where you field a suspended player will be counted as a loss.
So why does that mean you're disqualified. Wouldn't it only mean you lost the first leg?
Anyone who knows the rules to this?

The article says the game should be overturned and counted 3:0 for Cardiz. Nothing about 'disqualification'.

lol @ when people were calling for carlo's head for rafa to replace him...why? cos rafa was born in madrid and coached the youth team decades ago....what were the technical staff doing for crying out loud? this is just silly, i would have expected something like this under the ramon calderon era.....smh

Not really good... According to Goal.com, "Cadena SER published a fax sent to all clubs with a list of suspended players ahead of the latest round of Copa del Rey fixtures. 'Cheryshev (one match)' was clearly mentioned halfway down the list."

He would accuse Rafa of being an undercover agent working for Barça, that Karim Zenati is secretly a Barça fan hellbent on ruining Benzema's life, that our club doctors are Barça fans who are purposely injuring our players and that there's a big conspiracy going on against Real Madrid.

I can't believe such acts of stupidity still happens in 2015.This would've sounded more believable if it involved a 3rd division team, not the most popular club in the country ffs.

There is too much ignorant shit in this thread lol, the one in charge of checking player's eligibility and what not is Chendo, not Benitez. And yes, there is a club delegate in charge of those things and he screwed up.
I like Benitez, he is screwing up, we all know he will get sacked, even if he wins the CL, but be at least fair with the ciriticism
