He doesnt fit. I watch alot of Miami and he just doesnt see enough of the ball with freelance action.

I feel asleep end of the 3rd of the Spurs - Bulls game, not because it wasnt a great game, it was, I was just tired I guess. But it was good from what I saw. Bulls played better than vs Indy, they got better penetration and the shooters were hitting. I felt though the Spurs got better shots and were simply missing, the bench was off. Mills, Diaw and West were missing easy ones. Parker and LMA were great on offence, Duncan great on defence and Leonard is just the beast. He tortured Butler at times.


Leonard for me, is no less than a top 3 player in this league. After Lebron and Curry there is nobody better in my opinion.

The top 5 this season for me is definitely Curry, Lebron, Kawhi, KD and Paul George.

After Curry put them in any order you want, they have all been awesome.

Also it's funny like with Paul George, Kawhi did torture Butler. But when it came down to one shot to win the game Butler got the stop to win the game both times.

That statement motivates me to give my top 25 players.

I know, right now Curry is playing WAY better than anyone, but the finals werent that long ago. Lebron is still the better player in my opinion. Not that Lebron performed great either, but still. But I wouldnt argue if anyone put Curry 1st though.

Yours? Do whichever criteria you want. Mine is basically, if we do an NBA draft for just this 1 season, who would I pick next.

Im shocked as anyone to say it, but yes, he is better. KD could be better, but he is too soft and lets Westbrook do whatever he wants. He talks about his admiration for Kobe, but he doesnt have anywhere near his attitude. He is the best scorer I seen in a very long time, that stretch he had without Westbrook was better than even what Curry is doing now imo. But that guy doesnt exist when Westbrook is around, and thats not on Westbrook any more.

The reason I put Leonard above him is what I saw head to head. Leonard has aggression, he takes you head on every time and scores on you inside and out. Plus his defence is extraordinary, best perimeter defender I seen since prime Artest.

Regarding KD, he's just not assertive at all. I get on LeBron for being passive but this guy is just so timid. Kawhi put some serious work on him in that opening game and instead of using his length and playing in the post against Kawhi, he was out there on the perimeter trying to dribble past him......wow.

But, I can't Kawhi before him if you push me. I can't do it. However, if things continue the way they have gone this year, I will have to agree with you.

P.S. You would take Conely over Parker?

Should have looked at another list from some writer before doing this. Nah man, I can see Parker still has game left. He is better than Conely, Lillard and Howard. Take them all down 1 and slide Parker in there after Green.

Of course these lists are fluid, a couple of months can change my opinion.

I mean, Wall has sucked so far, so if this continues I can drop him down a bit. But I have faith in his abilities, plus he is still playing good defence.

Izzy, how far or close is Andre Drummond from this top 25?

If he keeps up this level of play till the All Star break, he'll boot Dwight out completely.

I didn't watch the game yesterday, but I heard it was Drummond looking like the seasoned vet and Dwight was the up and comer.

I feel the same way you feel about Drummond, about Hassan Whiteside to be honest. He dominates games more than Howard at this point. I have seen more of his games than any other center this season though, so my opinion is clouded.

Drummond to me has gone past him. Neither have great post moves, but Drummond has actually shown improvement and starting to link moves together. I havent checked the stats, but I imagine he close to a 20 a game scorer. I dont know what Howard is putting up but I guess it isnt more than him. With Drummond out here rebounding like Moses Malone and being decent as a pick and roll defender. Im struggling to think of a single thing I would want Howard for instead.
