back in the managment game

well as of today I am back in the management game after a 10 year lay off. ive been asked to take over a sunday lge team and after taking training with the team on Wednesday night I have taken the job. I have the spine of a team already but a few bad eggs that need to be weeded out. some have a good attitude but no talent. some have talent but a bad attitude. I have 3 class players. one is a family friend. one is my nephew. and one is my son so I know what I have with them. I have a right back coming that can play. plus I'm trying to get 2 CM players that I have worked with in the past that are good players. I didn't think I would get back into management but after taking training on Wednesday I got the bug back. wish me luck lads I'm gonna need it. I will try to keep this thread open and post a match report and the score every sunday. plus I can have a rant when we lose.

I'm expecting videos of every match so we can analyse them

I advice you park the bus and hoof to your 3 best players who should all play as attackers. Everyone else staying in their own half.

If you're losing, just sub on Fellaini at half time and instruct your son and nephew to hoof it to him.

from what I have to work with I'm playing a 433. my son and nephew are mf players and the other guy is a young fast winger with lots of skill who I think I can turn into a cf. the problem I have is one of the players has talent and would be great in mf with my son and nephew. but his attitude is bad. the guy thinks he is Iniesta. he shouts at other players for making mistakes then blames other players for his own mistakes. but if it comes down to my will against his he will lose. I need 3-4 new players that can get into the team so peoples attitude will change.

this is last weeks game. we are the dark blue team. we won 5-4. my son scored 2 goals. my nephew 1. the family friend 1 and another guy I know well the other. there is 3-4 parts to the vids.

What's your transfer kit? You should try to get Origi on loan, imo.

At lower levels, lots of hoofing and crossing is the key. And then winning the second balls. Once you get into the Championship it's time to change tactics. You're welcome.

Why ??? I suppose the games are on Sunday. If the team doesn't contain too many professionals (you know, people with jobs ), you can schedule a Friday night and a Saturday daytime sessions too.

the club we play at for our home groand is very posh. and they have 3 teams training on the pitch at a time. they want to rince the money.

Its going to be tough with so little training.

It sounds like you can rely on players to consistently attend? That in my experience is 75% of the battle in non pro football.

not at the ground we train on. I'm gonna see if I can get training switched to a new ground and just play games at our home ground. where we are now we all have to pay £5 each to train for 1hr. and £10 per person to play at the ground. it is a bit much tbh.
