Not tried the other two of relevance as the Cat Eyes one is only really good if you want to go Crossbow only for some reason lol.

Won the Gwent tournament. Don't really like the Skellige deck because there is 0 medics and spies. Its still a good deck though, got some great cards. The beserker ones are legit.

Done everything

Took anywhere between 40-50 hours ( DLC ), now on to the 2nd playthrough

Next time i'll probably get the armor dye's etc earlier, it's not as fun mucking around with different colors etc when the story is done imo.

Also i doubt i'm ever going to get tired of exploring Touissant, the best game world ever created imo.

People wearing non-Witcher armor at this stage though smh.

I found it tougher as well, not sure if i was being complacent or it was legitimately harder.

Nah it's harder. You can tell by the bet money being increased too.

When i do another playthrough i'm thinking of setting the Gwent difficulty to hard and see how much difference it makes.

Harder difficulty doesn't make a massive difference. They just have better cards. You will see peasants with geralt cards lol. They can sell their village and can't afford it normally ffs

I imagine it's harder when you remove cards etc etc as well, like for example when you do it on easy quite a lot you get an extra hero card lmao.

Here you are RG I didn't drink as much as i usually would because i haven't made as many alchemy manuscripts yet on this crappy playthrough and i get more toxicity the more i make.

But gives an idea of what i do lol.

Thing about gwent is people tend to play spy cards and medic cards late which caught me by surprise. And EVERYONE seems to have the Mysterious Elf card.

Don't know what black blood is. Only used moon dust.


That alchemy build looks good. No damage received is probably the most useful thing about it lol. Does it work on every enemy even the boss?

I was only not taking damage because those enemies do poison attacks and Superior Golden Oriole = Poison heals me.

I'll explain it in detail what I do when I get the game on later lol.

Oh and Superior Black Blood basically means when Vampires get near me they get damaged. So I don't even have to touch them lmao.

Right i'll go through my skills lol.

Poisoned Blades- Oil applied to blades gives a 15% chance of poisoning the target on each hit. The chance is greater the higher level of oil used.

Protective Coating - Adds 25% protection against attacks from the monster the oil targets

Heightened Tolerance - Increases overdose threshold from 75% to 100%

Refreshment - Each potion dose used heals 25% of maximum health

Acquired Tolerance - Every known level 1, 2,or 3 alchemy formula increases maximum toxicity by 1 ( this one is the key)

Endure Pain  - Increases maximum health by 50% when toxicity exceeds the safe threshold

Cluster Bombs - Upon detonation bombs seperates in 6 explosive fragments

If you go through the skill tree there's others which are just as OP lol.

Now to go through the potions i use....

Superior Maribor Forest - Accelerates the generation of adrenaline points, grants 1 adrenaline point upon use

Superior Golden Oriole - Poisons heal instead of doing damage

Superior Blizzard - Whenever you kill an enemy, time slows for a short period. If 3 adrenaline points are available, during this period actions won't deplete stamina.

Superior Petri's Philter - Increases sign intensity, signs always apply their special effects.

Superior Tawny Owl - Accelerates stamina generation, never expires at night.

I use Thunderbolt too but i imagine you already know what that does.

That's without mentioning the Decoctions i use lmao, i can guarantee you that what ever you use is nowhere near as OP as this is. Especially when i use the Euphoria mutation which gives me over 200% bonus to my sword damage and sign intensity.

Also keep in mind that because i'm on NG+ my sign tree is fully maxed out too, i could do combat instead of signs which i probably will when ever i do my next from scratch playthrough.

My 1st playthrough was Signs build and 2nd is attack build. Both fantastic. Can see your alchemy is the same.

People on reddit and the likes gush over an Alchemy/Combat hybrid build, really looking forward to trying it out as i have mainly combined Alchemy with Signs so far which is great but there's some combat based stuff i obviously give up to make it work.

Btw does the main quest always stay at level 35? I want to do side quest first but i might go outside of the level boundary for the main quest.
