Lazio Hernanes was an absolute beast, I'm hoping this form lasts.

He said some days ago "Playing more often in the role in front of the defence I can get more accustomed to it, learn more tricks of the trade. In that position you need more thought and less instinct. I was used to relying on my instinct, but I am adapting and I think I can do well there."

Would be the best alternative Marchisio if he really has adapted to the position.

No one denies his skills,he was a beast for Lazio but Inter ruined him so badly that most of us barely had any hope he'd be solid signing...maybe we can make a "Pirlo" out of him,getting him back on top form.

I don't want him to be on Lazio days level as that would be impossible at his age but at least he can be a solid back up for Marchisio...otherwise if he goes back to his Inter days form,we better sell him and find a replacement.
Right now he doesn't convince so a top CM is a must seeing Khedira is injury prone.

I never understood the reason for buying him in the first place. I can't describe how bad he's been.

but a problem i think is that he did not play too much

Good match from him yesterday. Its sad to lose Marchisio, but at least he performed well.

Hernanes seems to have settled in. He knows what to do and when to do it. I would definitely like to keep him as Marchisio's vice until one of the prospects we have signed in Mandragora and Sensi are ready to join us.
