How highly do you rate Hernanes?

He could easily play in our midfield, thats for sure. Im a little surprised a big club has not gone for him yet.

he isnt imo,doesnt hamsik play as a striker anyway....

He would waltz into most top midfields in the world, he really deserves a club in the Champions League.

Anyway i agree, and he's much better than Hamsik IMO.....probably one of the best underrated players out there, would have fitted rather well in my unappreciated thread.

I'd also take Hernanes over Hamsik, however this isn't meant to dismiss Hamsik, I simply have incredible respect for Hernanes as a player. Great as a carrier and distributor, excellent vision, a goal threat and works incredibly hard to track back and win the ball himself. He hasn't been quite as good this season, however I honestly believe that was due to Reja's team selection reducing the flexibility of movement in the front line, even though they're doing better thanks to having such a fantastic and consistent centre-forward.

What you said in bold, Hamsik is better in all aspects in my opinion bar maybe as a distributor as he doesnt really play as an AM for Napoli anyways..

Bigger goal threat ,Hard working and possesses incredible vision too..Is better than Hernanes in defensive aspect too in my opinion ,his displays against City is a great indication of that.Can play across various positions as he is pretty quick

Though Hernanes technically is superb ,has great close control and can dictate the flow of the game better.

Maybe Hernanes is the better playmaker but for me Hamsik is the better overall player.

Definitely not a dig at Hernanes though as he is class player and i like him as well..Carried Lazio on his back pretty much last season.

I'm just starting to realize how much Hernanes is killing us when we play Lazio. We need him to be kicking goals for us AGAINST Lazio.

For Milan, I'd take Her over Ham because he plays a more advanced role and that's what we need right now, but both players are very talented.

Great, underrated player. Should be playing for a top team, but Lazio is at least doing well and going after some stars. Would welcome him with open arms at Juve. Give them Krasic plus cash and play a 4312 with Hernanes in the Trequartista position.
