Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid
the way Madrid went about this transfer must of made ddg think they didn't try hard enough to get him that's why he signed the new deal. So it don't matter what I think. But ddg defo puts the blame on madridchad4401 wrote:Unique wrote:I think the new contract confermes it was Madrid that were at falt over the transfer cock up.
i swear you do nothing but bait arguments, its obvious that DDG wanted to leave and manu waited until the last day to mess things up, new contract or not manu are a pleb club.

Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid
wow, lmao, what a summer.
His "move" to madrid is dead in the water, it will be freezing in hell before Perez breaks transfer records to sign him
Rebano though
might as well wait for the next best thing
Biggest winner of all this story is probably Keylor Navas, fought off Casillas and De Gea in one summer

Just spouted nonsense not worth responding to, but I do want to respond to the bold part by saying one thing:
You mad?

it was a victory. Madrid wanted De Gea and man u wanted to keep him. Now he just signed a new contract with man u so they did win this battle.chad4401 wrote:mad for what? never wanted DDG tbh and im simple stating the fact that your club acted like plebs, but some are still trying to twist it as some kind of victory is hilarious.

Can't wait till you sign him next summer and you all do a massive u turn lol.
The idea of Madrid being the holier than thou club and once you reject them there is no return is utter crap and certainly isn't the case after Bale lol.

its not a matter of rejection mole, how they went about it was stupid why send the papers late? why ddg sitting in the stands, etc its stupid simple as that, extension or not and its well documented that madrid fans were indifferent to DDG overall, Keylor is a great keeper.

You'll soon change your tune when you realise Navas is bang average and you won't win shit with him as keeper.
He's great now but when he doesn't win you games in April you'll want someone else, it's the cycle of things.

Man U are a pleb club because they dint bend over to the great Real Madrid and sell him for peanuts.K
Do you guys realize your club got slapped in the face by the same Woodward u were mocking and laughing at a few weeks ago ?!
De Gea wanting a move is one thing but he dint even hand in a official transfer request as far as I know.
What will be more funny now is Flop bidding preposterous amounts for De Gea and get rejected..again
Anyways whoever loses in this situation would be equally satisfying (:

@chad
United pulled your pants.
Acted like bosses.
Kept our best player for a year( maybe more) and ensures we'll get at least 40m+ should he leave next summer.
And that's not even guaranteed he wants to leave, seeing how RM fluffed the transfer. Broke their promise. Didn't really push hard enough to sign him until it was too late. He could be put off a move.
Who's to say Flo wants to do business with Woodward( and vice versa) again especially after that statement when he labeled Woody as 'inexperienced'
Not plebs. Bosses.

DDG is just a bigger name than keylor that it for me save prem hype, I believe in his abilities since he actually looks like he give a damn, unlike iker who only cared about starting, so we will see

Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid
DDG is miles better than Navas lol, it's nothing to do with hype tbh.
If it was then there would be keepers across the league that were better but there's not that many. Mainly because outside of a handful most keepers in the PL are shite tbh.

Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid
If he's indeed earning wages 3x more than his previous wage, I actually see this transfer being more difficult than ever before.Man U are expected to surpass Madrid in revenue by the end of 2016 so I don't think this contract extension was to make some easy money.
We've seen crazier things before but I just think it's going to be difficult to buy stars from the EPL market going forward.

Master stroke by United
Send De Gea to the stands >>>>
Send papers 8 hours late....
De Gea signs new contract due to fear of being frozen out of national team after it was clear as day he wanted to leave Manchester behind for good.
Oh yeh, but I forgot it's as easy as buying a ps4 from Walmart so it must be Madrid's fault.

Lost Keylor Navas
Lost De Gea now practically
Lost with Romero as No 1

Not gonna complain having Navas as our #1 GK

Look at the Marca and As poles even they want De Gea for free next season.
De Gea starting after international break
Starting GK is called Romero . De Gea will be sent to U 21 to get some match practice then the Valdes thing will occur. Even if he starts ,how long? he is going to sign pre contract in January after that ooops again head not in the game philosophy process. 40 million losts. Romero as No 1 and a Unahappy GK. Before this fiasco i could have seen De Gea being some what proffessional but after this....lol

how can a team have 5 GK and still end up having decent ones hating their manager

Romero will no longer be #1 tho...DDG will 100% play
He will have to regain match fitness by playing U 21 matches (good luck telling that to already pissed off player)
Even if you got him playing some how he signs the Pre contract in January and then he no longer plays well to avoid injury.PSG esque games will be coming. You are looking at a long season of Romero unless you sign some body today.
Doc wrote:I don't doubt De Gea would be numero uno again or better put, he should be made number one again but I get the impression B-Mac is underestimated the sheer arrogance of The Philosopher and sticking to his decision.
Navas had some serious demands for a last minute deal to take 8 hours of negotiating. Say what, only a minority of Madrid fans actually wanted De Gea this transfer window and I personally had no issues with Navas being our no. 1. Both players were really professional in all this, shame their clubs didn't follow suit.

Hope LVG remains long term.Loving his decision making (:
À bout de souffle wrote:I continue to read ManU fans talk about the Euros keeping DDG motivated for the remainder of his contract. But given Casillas is and will remain VDB's #1 (unless there's an injury), I don't see how DDG playing well or not changes the status quo. He'll keep his position on the bench regardless. He hasn't played all of one month and still got called up to the spain squad. And apart from S.Rico, there really isn't anyone else to seriously threaten DDG's bench role for Spain. May be K.Casilla if he goes to have a stellar season from madrid's bench.
IMO, DDG would be less inclined to join madrid after the mess, and an entire summer of indifference.
If DDG doesn't renew or renews short-term, I expect Barca to be very much in the mix for him this Jan or next summer.
Rebaño Sagrado wrote:He will come home when the time is right. There is no rush.Mr Nick09 wrote:U mad bro?

No more business with Manchester .... Don't care since only relevant one will be joining us next year any way for free....Manchester on the other hand we will prolly sell bale to city/chelsea now.
Adit wrote:Player performance lowers just before transfers. That's why before transfers lot of players goes on "injured" until the move actually happens. You don't want to get seriously injured and become club less like Valdes.De gea is staying with Valdes too lol..he will give nice advise.
chad4401 wrote:@b-mac even a neutral fan can see what manu game was, no need to shed tears cause your club acted like muppets, and the fans are acting like some moral victory is in this .

linetty wrote:Yeah but for now LVG isolated him and I think Romero will keep starting even though he lets some questionable goals past him.
Unless those higher in the hierarchy demand DDG to start then LVG will keep rolling in his delusion.
Mr Nick09 wrote:I find it very funny that United fans are here attacking Perez when he is only telling the truth as it is. Man Yoo is currently led by a clown known as Woodward, who is a complete noob with football dealings and has a terrible track record as it stands over the past 2-3 years.
This is just an invitation to reflect on how bad things were being handled at Man United right now. You can call Perez unclassy or what not, but he only has the right to defend himself after being dragged in such a terrible situation.
It's just the truth served on a very cold plate. You know it, we all know it, it's just different now because one of the most infliential person in football is calling out your club on the BS. And please, this is not an attack on Man Utd, it's one of the greatest clubs, but certainly not on the current leadership and they way they dealt with things over the past 3 years.
