Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid - Page 9 Empty Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid

Post by titosantill Tue Sep 01, 2015 2:53 pm

it seemed more calculated than "unprofessional" according to reports i'm hearing

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/9974553/david-de-geas-move-to-real-madrid-from-man-utd-thwarted-by-missing-paperwork

which goes inline with my theory that florentino knew what he was doing. think about it, this guy has signed figo (from barcelona) zidane, ronaldo, beckham, and the list goes on....you really think paperwork was the real issue? (no pun intended)

Manu already have all three GK and still Romero is your No 1 Laughing

how can a team have 5 GK and still end up having decent ones hating their manager

Romero will no longer be #1 tho...DDG will 100% play
When though is the question

He will have to regain match fitness by playing U 21 matches (good luck telling that to already pissed off player)

Even if you got him playing some how he signs the Pre contract in January and then he no longer plays well to avoid injury.PSG esque games will be coming. You are looking at a long season of Romero unless you sign some body today.

The Euros are coming up though so De Gea would want appearances and good performances.
If he's not playing, it's because of van Gaal - which is very possible.

Euos, World cup those are every other year doesnt stop a player from dropping performances especially some one who is being kept against his will. Pretty sure De Gea was training with the reserves too in last few weeks.Any way getting Manchester United's best player for free, where do we sign up?

I don't doubt De Gea would be numero uno again or better put, he should be made number one again but I get the impression B-Mac is underestimated the sheer arrogance of The Philosopher and sticking to his decision.

Navas had some serious demands for a last minute deal to take 8 hours of negotiating. Say what, only a minority of Madrid fans actually wanted De Gea this transfer window and I personally had no issues with Navas being our no. 1. Both players were really professional in all this, shame their clubs didn't follow suit.

Being reported now by @mariotorrejon on @carrusel that David de Gea is not ruling out getting offered another renewal at Man United.

I continue to read ManU fans talk about the Euros keeping DDG motivated for the remainder of his contract. But given Casillas is and will remain VDB's #1 (unless there's an injury), I don't see how DDG playing well or not changes the status quo. He'll keep his position on the bench regardless. He hasn't played all of one month and still got called up to the spain squad. And apart from S.Rico, there really isn't anyone else to seriously threaten DDG's bench role for Spain. May be K.Casilla if he goes to have a stellar season from madrid's bench. Laughing
IMO, DDG would be less inclined to join madrid after the mess, and an entire summer of indifference.
If DDG doesn't renew or renews short-term, I expect Barca to be very much in the mix for him this Jan or next summer.

What are you? a City fan? why such juvenile response?

It's a well thought out post, unlike yours. Why should I be jealous about madrid almost buying a player I don't even like or rate that highly. I was stating facts, and then making an educated prediction , given one of our keepers is criminally mismanaged and the media close to home have been trying their best to discredit him. So yeh, if the opportunity arose (which seems it will), Barca would be interested to have him replaced.
