Man City team:
Hart; Zabaleta, Otamendi, Mangala, Sagna; Fernandinho, Yaya; Navas, De Bruyne, Sterling; Bony
Sevilla team:
Rico; Coke, Andreolli, Rami, Tremoulinas; Krychowiak, N'Zonzi; Vitolo, Banaga, Konoplyanka; Gameiro
A surprisingly positive selection from Emery.

Well well, Borussia was really really lucky to get away here without a red card.

Sevilla will be kicking themselves tonight. Controlled the game from the start, but missed guilt-edged chances, then Emery threw the initiative away with rubbish subs and let City back in the game. City were very average.
Good thing for Sevilla is that they've got City and Juve at home now, where they'll have every chance of turning them over.

We still have to improve in so many things.. Disappointing display, especially finishing, like always.

Considering all the stuff that refs gave against them this season, there have to be one or two decisions where they get lucky for a change.dronte wrote:Well well, Borussia was really really lucky to get away here without a red card.
But in a way I'm happy it ended 0:0 - that way both Yann Sommer and Gigi Buffon kept a clean sheet

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group D
Well, they got 10 (in words: ten!) penalties against them in this season so far (13 competitive matches, that is), half of them very questionable. ^^
As a matter of fact, after Alvaro Dominguez' foul when the ref seemed to talk over his headset, someone wrote in the Borussia forum "The ref just had to discuss whether he also could reward a penalty for this." Â
(And when Gladbach got a pen for them in the last BL match, even the TV commentator was completely taken aback and said "A penalty FOR Gladbach? I think there must be a referee error...")

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group D
One of the most hapless performances I've witnessed against a pretty mediocre side.
I really don't know which idiot would replace a seemingly working partnership of Dybala and Morata for workhorses like Zaza and Mandzukic.Fielding different set of players every game.Having your creative players mostly warm the bench.
This guy has totally lost the plot.He has absolutely no idea right now how to utilize the resources in the team.
Like I said I really would be shocked if we finish top two.Would also go on to say if a better coach is available preferably after the season, I hope he's replaced.

Still trying to figure out how we managed to lose that lead in 11-12 against a Juve that drew 30 games or something

Re: Champions League 2015/16 | Group D
Either Allegri's ass will be fired today or he will save his job for the rest of the season.
Even though I'm getting negative vibes regarding this match, I'll be seriously disappointed if we lose to this fodder team despite howell they're going in their league.
Really, even a draw would be a poor result but I suppose it's the Juventus way or rather the Allegri way to leave qualification until the last match(which would be disastrous as we play Sevilla in our last game away from home)

The German Sky commentator is so incredibly disrespectful towards Juve, it's funny but actually kind of annoying.

Great finish by Licht! Licht is my hero the guys just come back from a heart operation 2 weeks ago.
Hope he retires with us and stays within the club somehow. Such a great character to have around.
Pretty bad game so far by us, as usual we're creeping into the match but with the late goal it's anyone's game in the second half.
