A new gimmick despite barely being given a chance at his current one. hmm

Bryan Alvarez noted of F4Wonline.com noted this week that Bo Dallas is in line for a new gimmick. No other details are available yet but Bo could be receiving a character change soon.

No word yet if this is referring to the slight changes we saw to Bo’s character on last Thursday’s WWE SmackDown. After debuting a new finisher and attacking R-Truth following their match, Bo cut a promo and said he’s tried to help inspire people for so long but they’ve turned him into a joke. He thought what he did to Truth was “really funny” and said he Bo-lieves he will be a lot more “humorous” in the future.

Can feel dat Cena headline coming soon. hmm

Developmental talent Jasmin Areebi (Nhooph Al-Areebi), who has worked NXT live events, has supposedly posted messages on Twitter which include the n-word and other potentially racist comments. If these screengrabs are authentic, then she's most likely going to be released. It appears she has suddenly completely deleted her Twitter account. The supposed posts were made in 2012 and 2013. The person who found the postings and uploaded screenshots of them has since made his Twitter account private.

Rollins was made to look weak on Raw, so WWE logic dictates that he retains.

And if they're gonna have sting win they might as well give him a short run with the title, Sheamus can cash in at the end of the next PPV

It'd be pretty stupid for a 60 year old to beat one of the best performers atm

Only way Sting should win is via interference.

Sheamus should make sting win and then cash in straight after.

- WWE RAW averaged a 2.66 rating with 3.67 million viewers in July 2015. This is down 11% in ratings and 15% in viewership from July 2014, which averaged a 2.99 rating with 4.32 million viewers. July 2013 averaged a 2.97 rating with 4.00 million viewers while July 2012 averaged a 3.35 rating with 4.91 million viewers. RAW viewers per home for July 2015 were 1.44, down from 1.49 per home in 2014 and 1.37 per home in 2013.

- WWE SmackDown averaged a 1.70 rating with 2.32 million viewers for July 2015, down 4% in ratings and 8% in viewership from July 2014, even though the show was on Friday nights and one of the episodes fell on July 4th. Excluding that holiday episode, the ratings are down 11% at a 1.91 average and the viewership is down 15% from July 2014 with a 2.72 million average. SmackDown averaged a 1.79 rating with 2.41 million viewers in 2013 and a 1.92 rating with 2.78 million viewers in 2012. SmackDown averaged 1.46 viewers per home in July of this year.

- With the exception of shows that were on July 4th, or Christmas or New Year’s Eve, RAW September 7th drew the lowest audience since late 1997. Raw’s previous low was 3.43 million viewers on December 3, 2012. Labor Day in and of itself is usually not that bad, as the 2014 Labor Day show did 3.91 million viewers and the 2013 show did 3.94 million viewers, so it was a 14 percent annual drop. This is a really bad sign because even though the college football game did strong numbers, with 10.56 million viewers, that are not unusually big numbers when compared to what the NFL will do on Mondays, and next week starts the NFL season.

Smackdown on 9/3 set its all-time low on Syfy with the exception of the July 4, 2014 episode, doing a 1.42 rating and 1.98 million viewers (1.49 viewers).

-- September 7: Monday's Raw scored a 2.44 rating on Labor Day. The show was down three-tenths of a rating from the previous four episodes, which were all at the 2.7 level wrapped around Summerslam.

It's an historically-low TV rating for Raw. The previous low was a 2.31 on New Year's Eve 2012. In the demographic ratings, Raw fell four-tenths of a rating in males 18-34, which erased a big gain for the show last week. Raw also fell to a one-month low among adults 18-49.

- According to The Wrestling Observer, sources at the USA Network indicate that officials there believe pro wrestling’s popularity is cycling downward, which is indicated by the decline in ratings.

WWE Viewers' interest under Seth Rollins WWE title Reign has hit the lowest point in history ever.

It is, but usually the main story carries the show. And a main story involving someone likes Rollins is never going to be interesting enough to pull viewers in imo. He's just not good enough to be World champion. It's why the WWE needs guys like Lesnar and Taker to main event the PPV's that actually matter.

I agree with you there.

His run as champion has been extremely stale and boring. They've booked him like he's Bo Dallas or something AND Rollins work on the mic has been dreadful for a while now. I thought he was going somewhere with the whole Anti-Cena crap after the whole nose break thing but its been the same old rubbish.

The booking is what is just killing the company.

There’s been some speculation that Randy Orton was either teaming with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose at WWE Night or Champions or perhaps the attack from The Wyatt Family on RAW was to write him off TV for another vacation.

PWInsider notes that WWE creative sources report Orton is not currently figured into any storyline plans for the next few weeks, including Night of Champions. It appears the angle with the Wyatts was done to write Orton off TV for a few weeks.

I'd say Bray Wyatt's the only one who'd fit into the AE because he's unique and stands out. Everyone else is too bland, generic and not larger than life imo.

Ambrose and Sandow would both be goat if they were given more freedom and a good storyline.

Daniel Bryan spoke with TheNational.ae in Abu Dhabi to promote WWE 2k16. During that interview, Bryan commented on how WWE should be concerned with the fact that they haven’t created many big stars since the Attitude Era.

Quote:
“It is interesting because I see it two ways. I see maybe people who don’t watch it anymore, who were big fans in the Attitude Era, which was the most popular time in wrestling. It would appeal to people who may not be watching the current product, but would be interested in the video game. One of the things I think it shows is that we have not really created enough new stars, to where we put new stars on the front of the video game, so that should be the overall bigger concern. We need to not just rely on people from the past. There is almost this mentality these stars are bigger than the current stars, and they keep going with the mentality when the guys now are every bit as good as the guys from before, it is just they need to be given the platform.”

Regarding John Cena having another run with the WWE World Heavyweight Title, it likely won't happen until 2016 some time.

Before Sting vs. Seth Rollins was announced for WWE Night of Champions, there was some speculation that Cena could be going for both titles next Sunday.

It was noted by F4Wonline.com at the time that WWE's goal was reportedly to keep Cena from the title, have it eventually go to Roman Reigns and have other Superstars battle for it before Cena's shot comes back around.

WWE officials are contemplating turning John Cena heel as a result of the low ratings due to Seth Rollins' World title reign. The product has garnered the lowest ratings of all time in recent months and is on a downward spiral, which is why the long awaited turn may be on the horizon.

PWInsider notes that Vince McMahon is on board for the biggest turn since Hulk Hogan in 1996 and is hoping it will lead the WWE into a new era. Ideas for how it will happen are still being thrown around, however one of them includes John Cena bringing a kid into the ring, raising his hand and then beating him bloody to end the show.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio described the situation with Nikki Bella as WWE Divas Champion an interesting one.

It was noted that if Nikki does win against Charlotte on RAW tonight, it’s likely due to the influence of her boyfriend John Cena. Apparently WWE officials have gone back and forth on creative plans for the Divas Title over the past few weeks.
