Utd probably cares less about the loss of money but highly more in the loss of an actual world class talent. This isn't like Golden Balls or Van Gol, De Gea is still pretty young. They are gonna do everything they can to convince De Gea to stay regardless of the posturing of Utd fans and whatever Van Gaal says.

Dani is correct though, this is Madrid. There is a really high chance they'll be ridiculous and pay a retarded fee for someone on their last year of contract but I'm hoping they actually summon whatever patience they can and hold out.

Also, can a club legally approach a player when his contract ends in 6 months like in FM? Don't know much of contract law. Or plenty. Whatever.

Reports liverpool will make a bid for marco reus with some of the money they just rinsed out of city. Good player but we dont need another AM player.

Reus played forward in his last year at Gladbach as part of a two striker formation. A lot of people consider it his best year in the BuLi also.

Even still, even if he were only an AM if he were available (and he's not, at least not to Liverpool) you make room for him.

Reus is a pretty effective as a striker. Used him there for over 100 games on FIFA this year, had a 2.4 goals per game ratio. Think he could do the job tbh. Obviously not at pool though, that's pure fantasy. Proud

but yeah Reus to Pool would be a sidestep, IDK how much he's on at BVB but when he moves it'll be to one of Europe's elite IMO.

maybe the guy would rarther go to a club and make a good team. Insted of just joining a good team. He said he turned down barca because he wants to play every week. So it dont sound like he is the type of guy that is happy to sit on a bench and take big money to watch his team mates win things for him. As you say bvb are the same levle as liverpool right now. So he wouldent be giving up champions lge football. So he might like a new challange at liverpool where he would be in the team for years to come.

Reus has zero chances of winning anything with Liverpool, that's a fact. He won't be a footballer all his life so I'd assume he wants them shiny cups. So obviously he's aiming to go to Bayern or somewhere, not to Liverpool ffs.

Not that I rate Liverpool highly but unless they cease to exist, Liverpool has just as much chance to win anything as any of the other schmucks in the EPL. Kind of BM to say they have zero chance even if Don't Call Me Madridista is incredibly moody.
