When you choke against Leverksuen, that is a very valid reason for suicide.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Borussia M'gladbach vs Schalke 04 is under way
32.) 1:0 - Lars Stindl (Ralf Fährmann saved a somewhat dubious foul penalty by Stindl, but Stindl scored the rebound via header XD)
Wow, great save by Ralf Fährmann in the 41st minute!
44.) 1:1 - Andreas Christensen (own goal)
Normally it could have been a 3:0 or so as Gladbach heavily pressured Schalke and had the better chances. Only the ball didn't go in - so a dubiously penalty (for once a 50:50 decision was given *for* Gladbach) was needed to get the first goal - but not even that went directly in, the rebound was needed.
And the goal that Schalke scored came from the only occasion when they got somewhat dangerously in front of Gladbach's goal - but even then a Gladbach player was needed to finally score... I guess both goals will get a "Kacktor des Monats" nomination by Arnd Zeigler XD
BTW, Christensen actually made a very good game so far - this own goal was his only lapse so far.
HT - Borussia M'gladbach 1:1 Schalke 04
Schalke are getting better in the second half. Yann Sommer already had more work than the whole first half.
70.) 2:1 - What a beautiful FK by Raffael!
Both goalies great today.
84.) 3:1 - Julian Korb
FT - Borussia M'gladbach 3:1 Schalke 04
André Hahn was very nastily fouled by Johannes Geis (who rightfully got sent off with a straight red), and he's on the way to the hospital. I hope it is not as bad as it looked, but in the worst case he could have his knee badly injured.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I guess Max Eberl will likely decide that they can save some money continuing with André Schubert that can go into signing players in Winter to replace the long-time injured ones.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I had to watch it in the live match including several slo-mos. I really hope for a very lengthy suspension of Johannes Geis. This was a truly terrible foul!

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Werder still lost, though
Oh, and Gladbach continue to pursue the record of most penalties given against a club during one season. Although they are also piling up penalties given *for* them recently ^^

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Just look at Ingolstadt - they managed to collect 15 points while having the worst attack of the Bundesliga that only scored 7 goals in all of their 11 matches - that is, 5 goals less than the teams that stand currently on place 17 and 18...

Philipp Lahm's foul against Frankfurt in the 69th minute was the first foul conceded by Lahm since 23rd of September 2014..
