It's irrefutable to argue that Cabaye wasn't great for us.

We finished 5th in his first season after being mid table garbage the season before.

We nearly got relegated the following season because he was hardly on the pitch.

In his 3rd season we were 5th and 6 points from 1st going into the new year and he was sold. We then imploded the rest of the year and hardly won a game finishing 11th.

I see only two possible scenarios here.

Either Inter are using these tactics to get Milan to overpay or Kondigbia is thinking long and hard about joining a club with no CL especially with other attractive teams showing an interest in him.

Highly unlikely that Inter could even afford him tbh.

If his agent was smart, he'd wait for the Pogba scenario to play out before making a commitment unless there's an offer from a CL team that absolutely blows him away...

I would be happy with Kondogbia as a Pogba replacement.But both Allegri and Marotta have stated that he's happy and wants to stay so i think he'll stay put for atleast another year.

Maybe... but Pogba has been completely mute on the subject and his France NT teammates are openly and publicly pushing him to go to their respective clubs. Seems like he's on the verge of making a decision and everyone is putting their best foot forward.

Regardless, Kondogbia should wait. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain....

Sky claims that Kondogbia accepted Inter's offer earlier today, which spurred Galliani to travel back to Monte Carlo to negotiate.

Milan have offered Kondogbia an annual salary of €4m + €1m in bonuses (if Milan qualify for the CL). [Sky]

Inter have offered an annual salary of €3.6m to Kondogbia, according to Sky.
