Re: Barclays Premier League 15-16 Discussion-v1
Not really.
Schweignsteiger and Schneiderlin are better than Ramires, Sterling is better than Willian and hell so is Depay.
Don't really know who Liverpool has signed, just standard Chelsea wankfest from a media member.

Honestly that is an interesting claim. A prime Schweinstniger would start for Chelsea but this is a Schweinstniger who played 37 games in two years. I know Oscar is not rated at all in this forum so I guess a lot will have Sterling or Firmino in AM over him. Darmian I honestly believe he is as good if not better than Azpi. As for other signings it's quite clear, Cech left in the first place because he was not starting (I actually think he is still better than Courtois though). Costa>Benteke, Hazard>Depay, Matic>Scheniderlin, not sure about Azpi and Clyne Milner would not start anywhere for Chelsea.

Do Sterling and Depay play on the right? And I thought Chelsea's starting lineup had Fabregas-Matic pivot, no Ramires

Usually yes but when the games matter Ramires will play, Mourinho doesn't trust Cesc against the elite.

I agree with that tbh.M99 wrote:Honestly that is an interesting claim. A prime Schweinstniger would start for Chelsea but this is a Schweinstniger who played 37 games in two years. I cant say how good firmino is because ive not seen much of him tbh. but I don't think Oscar is that great. coutinho is a better player than Oscar imo.M99 wrote:Don't call me James wrote:Firmino >> Oscar

Oscar never played as a goddam Cf for Brazil. Firmino was being deployed as the #9 in Copa America. At AM Firmino is > Oscar.

If United lose DDG, that would be 4 players they lost this summer who are world class or were considered world class within the last 2 years
They ain't getting top 4 without DDG. We'll comfortably finish top 4. Perez save us ffs.

Re: Barclays Premier League 15-16 Discussion-v1
The fact De Gea is pretty much refusing to play is great. United are playing hard ball, Real Madrid are playing hard ball, De Gea is, well, is not playing. We could have some good entertainment from this saga yet.

And that, you could see on Brazil too. Oscar played far superior for Brazil than Coutinho and Firmino ever did.

Re: Barclays Premier League 15-16 Discussion-v1
One thing is certain though, if we lose de gea this summer, woody and co will go mental and shell out some 150 mil on a couple of strikers. Even amid all these digs and jibes at his capability woodward has been a class act so far this window, signing no mercenaries or marquees unlike last season and addressing areas that need addressing somewhat quietly too, But then if we cant retain ddg now lol all that could change pretty soon. No way we will go into the season with duds romero and rooney in two vital positions.
But then If they decide to do that (owing to whatever reason/explanation), then lol its going to be a very looooong season for us.
