Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
I used it for the final mission and didn't even bother dodging at all, not sure if it's because I was on easy but I was literally invincible

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
Speaking of machines though, I HATED the Stalkers the first time I faced them.
Was such a difference compared to what I saw up to that point, I really wasn't ready for it lol.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
I didn't mind stalker. Unless it went easy on me. Not sure they designed it this way but using environment makes the fight a bit easy. Specially boulders. Can get behind to avoid being jumped.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
I mean I find them a piece of piss now, but going into that fight and realising he's invisible and drops mines was just so different to what I was dealing with.
The shock and change in approach just made it really tense fight for me.

Figure of speech
Anyway in my desire to clean up the map I have discovered that I should have used bombs and the rattler a lot more during my playthrough.

You don't have bombs lmao?
Jesus even early on when I had *bleep* all but default stuff I had the freeze bombs to destroy the bellowback.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
I used 2 bows, Tripcaster, Bomb Sling and Ropecaster, I never used the sound machine you can get from Hunting Lodge rewards or The Rattler, I tried using Rattler at the start but didn't like it, admittedly I used it for 10 seconds lol

I didn't know. I literally have the bow and tripcaster and that's it.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
I mainly went 3 bows and ropecaster tbh.
I would swap stuff out now and again but in general that's what I went with.
Some really good stuff I rarely used.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
If I find the likes of thunderjaws relatively straight forward, I am changing difficulty to very hard.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
I played the final part of the last mission on Very Hard, just to claim I beat the game on that difficulty. Come at me.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
Thunderjaw isn't hard anyway, it's huge as *bleep* and does a lot of damage but it's easy as hell.
There's many that are harder than that.

I used two bows, blast sling, tripcaster. The explosive mines on the blast sling can decimate pretty much any enemy within a short amount of time.

End game spoilers
- Spoiler:
- There's theories going around that each metal flower is gaia memorial for Elizabet and this basically started because pretty much all of them have that same flower design as Elizabet's grave

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
I have killed loads lol.
BTW I love the little details in this game, override a Trampler and it killed it's an entire hoard lol.
When it was done it the tiniest bit of health left and it was limping around like it it broke his leg or something.
I didn't have the heart to kill the thing after seeing it so I just ran lol.
