Goalkeepers on Top Player suck as well, at least in ML/BAL

I don't like their positioning. Most of the time they rarely leave the six yard box, which makes one-on-ones so easy because they're not closing down the angle. Only time they come out is when there's a long ball over the top and he needs to sweep up (and in these situations, you can beat the keeper to it and just lob him). They don't come and claim crosses or chips into the box (I've complained about that before), and let in a few too many shots that central or straight at them.

Superstar doesn't really improve on those, so much as it just puts the keeper reflexes up to ridiculous levels.

Hopefully Konami will patch them eventually.

After a couple of weeks of messing with PES and FIFA I have to say, FIFA on PC really plays like a dream. PES graphics on PS4 are just not comparable, period. Everything from player faces, lighting system, animations, collision system and so on. It really feels like old gen vs new gen and everyone I played with amongst my friends agreed too. Don't even get me started on the Option files and transfers on PES...

But PES is all about game play right? Well, that is what everyone had been banging about a month ago or so, but I have to say I'm not too impressed on that side of things either.

While I find PES 2016 to be a significant improvement over 2015, it just feels way too arcady. I played FIFA with my friend at half time (Arsenal vs Bayern) and it felt 'right'. Later on, we both went and played PES after full time and when playing it we both felt like everything was at super speed. Everyone on the Arsenal team bombing forward at pace. It boggles my mind when people say PES is a closer simulation than FIFA. Not on the default settings I'm playing on, that's for sure.

Also my fear of passing was right. I'm playing on Level 1 assistance and the passes are just too good to be true. One touch, one-twos etc. And it is not just passing itself but the defensive AI's awareness in cutting them. It just takes like a second for defensive AI to kick in sometimes and they don't respond like a real player would respond to a dead ball or a potential threat. I find that to be a HUGE improvement in FIFA 16 from the piece of dog crap that was FIFA 15.

And sure, all these short comings can sometimes result in you score some amazing goals on PES that are not possible in FIFA, but it just leaves me with a guilty feeling when I score those, as I know it could have been prevented with a proper AI.

Back to FIFA. Might give PES another try when I've exhausted myself from FIFA but I don't think that'll happen any time soon.

Find it hard to believe PES is more arcadey than FIFA.

The demo gameplay was the best version of FIFA imo. Latest patch they seem to have put the ice skatey arcadey feel back to it and dribbling is op. Crosses don't work at all and nor do lob through balls, which is unrealistic. The game is just a mess.

It's not but who cares really.

Got Guardiola on myclub, instantly went from constantly losing 1-0 and 2-1 in previous matches to winning with results such as 4-1 and 9-1.

The offline squad updates are out but they're still missing a few transfers that even the online update has .. They don't even have Real's third kit even though they're licensed ffs

FIFA's gameplay isn't shit though.. If PES is 9-9.5/10 gameplay wise, FIFA is an 8-8.5/10..

So its amazing gameplay + garbage features vs great gameplay + amazing features essentially.. The fact that I can't play at the Santiago Bernabeu is really grinding my gears My PC version of PES 2015 had more stadiums so I wasn't expecting this but I guess they were just modded

Got my copy today. Let me tell as person who wants to die passing ball this game is freaking good. FIFA can bleep off. Started career mode with Napoli was on streak until Barca kicked my ass in CL. Maintaining possession of above 65% continuously ( except ofcourse against Barca). Want to try Be A Legend mode tbh. All in all if u enjoy a foreplay instead of pinning against wall and banging like shit this game is for u.

As per recent rumours, a free-to-play edition of Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 is coming December 8th.

The edition is being described by Konami as 'entry level', and at this stage has only been announced for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. It will include an Exhibition Mode with the choice of seven teams - including Bayern Munich, Juventus, AS Roma, Brazil and France - a full training section, and unlimited access to PES' MyClub feature.

Sold this poverty game 2 weeks ago

So yesterday, I decided to use my agents on myclub, didn't get any good players. In the last pack, it stopped on a white ball (worst) between a black ball and a gold ball, the name of the player that I got? Lu L. Now, I am no expert at this but I think Konami is trolling me, never mind that he has one of the lowest ratings in the game.

I should add that the Neymar-Morata partnership in attack is the best I have ever played with in a football game.
