Fallout 4

no dlc required



Was in the middle of the story mission where you start tracking someone with Dogmeat then something flew overhead and crashed. Went to investigate and found green blood - followed the blood trail to a cave and walked into this

I uncapped the frame-rate and er.... Not advisable if you have a powerful rig lol, game physics becomes downright wonky and lock-picking is impossible because pins instantly break.

I unlocked it because I had this weird bug where my fps was being limited to half my refresh rate and yet my GPU was only on 30-35% load.

Had to use nVidia inspector to limit the games frame-rate.

Funny thing is, the game physics seemed to be tied to vsync, not FPS which is weird because people with gsync seem to do fine:

so is this game the best ps4 game ever.

Bethesda plz, companion abuse must stop, don't encourage us

sticking to 2 or 3 main settlements cba with the little ones, i have around 20, got a few that look decent but mostly it's a chaotic trainwreck, you definitely can build impressive stuff though if you get deep into it

I had that happen too but I can't remember exactly where it was, I was searching then codsworth mentioned something crashing and I heard it above me but didn't see where it was so I just skipped it

If any settlers are in the area and would like a cozy bed to sleep in, my uncle set up this lovely abode in Sanctuary Hills.

one of my settlements is looking pretty tasty right now

starlight drive in although sanctuary hills is decked out too it's a mess I need to clear up, got my settlement happiness to 86 atm though and it keeps rising (stores and decor are key)

got the local leader perks now to establish supply runs and stores in settlements

still haven't gone to diamond city, nearly lvl 40

I have explored tons of the map though and done a bunch of the mid size town's quests, really like the atmosphere in goodneighbor

I'm rolling with a companion that was in one of my favorite locations in Fallout 3 and I didn't even remember until he brought it up

one thing that irked me is that I gained a new companion but didn't take him with him at the time (I'm maxxing bonds with each companion before using another) and now I can't find him anywhere, hope I haven't lost him.

Compare that Dog to DD for me

DD is way better. Companions are pretty trash in this besides them giving some interesting quests.

Codsworth is a godly decoy when facing a legendary super mutant.


Btw, I'm playing on survival and facing legendary enemies every 4-5 battles. What difficulty are you guys playing on?

Hard and like every second group has a legendary and some even have two.


What's nice is that the first epic item I got (Laser Musket with 25% extra damage as the ability) is still my preferred weapon of choice for the bullet sponges - got it up to 5 crank now and just one shot Legendary Super Mutants with a headshot.


Got two days in a row off; gonna be marathoning this game tomorrow because I gotta get back to LoL lol; massive exciting changes in the enw season there s well

So I found the man who's probably responsible for the nuke that hit Boston.


And now I'm helping him smh

How the f did you platinum a fallout game. Didn't it have ridiculous trophies considering how big the game is?

how long did it take you to compleat.

Dunno how Firenze has done that considering a lot of the trophies are dialogue based and you'd basically have to save before each time you speak to someone lmao.

It's practically impossible to do a platinum run through in one playthrough otherwise.

The only challenging achievement/trophy is Benevolent Leader - which is to get a large Settlement to 100% happiness.




The only other one which might be hard is pickpocketing a live grenade into someone's pocket. (Prankster's Return)

Mercenary = complete 50 Miscellaneous quests.

I'm surprised there isn't one for pickpocketing a Fusion Core off someone wearing Power Armour.

Underground Undercover and Red Rocket are quests related to The Railroad faction.
