The fact he hasn't signed an extension and has only a year left does suggest pretty strongly he's got his heart set on Madrid. It's perfect in every way, too, Casillas needs replacing and De Gea is the new Spanish star goalkeeper. It just feels inevitable he'll end up in Madrid.

He's off.
Don't blame him. He's got a chance to go back to his home city, play for a world class team, become theirs and Spain's undisputed no.1 keeper for a decade.

his girlfriend seems to be a big factor and probably the major reason....as she is based in madrid where her career is
