Juventus have every reason to feel proud. They are progressing really well and had the 2nd best season in Europe after Barcelona.

It was always difficult to win against a team with a monster like Messi. But they matched them in nearly 3/4th of the match and often dominated them at times.

Barcelona were majestic whenever Messi got involved. He really is one of a kind.

Juve is not average by any stretch of the imagination and they outplayed us in both legs = they were better than Madrid. Plain and simple. You don't measure worth by adding up the FIFA rating of the individual players... it's about how you play as a team. Was Carlo at fault? Sure he was. He never adjusted tactically or with his personnel even in the face of overwhelming evidence. But you cannot say that Madrid was better than Juve... we weren't. Juve was the better team period.

fine average is a strong word, but better than madrid no, everybody and their mother can see what was going wrong with madrid, and the coach did nothing about it, that doesn't make juve a better team, if they beat barca are they better than no, why is it the same for madrid

Hard luck to Juve tbh, there were instances where i felt they were on the cusp of doing something amazing (Tevez wide shot, Pogba turn-shot, etc) but ultimately the better team won, no shame in that

Also have to hand it to Juve, they put in a massive effort today. Barca's individual quality just too much to overcome.
