CL Final: Juventus Vs Barcelona

Hope Juve win, but don't remember the last time there was such a one sided CL final.

Chiellini missing will be a big blow for Juve.

Easy win for Barca. 3-0.

Lack of hype isn't because of this particular match. I think this final has potential to be one of the best in recent years.

Problem is that this match is taking place so late in the season that it doesn't even feel like there is a match coming up. Obviously unless you are a barca/juve fan.

Surprising that Argentine seem to support Juventus, notwithstanding Messi. Maybe they support Tevez more.

No hype from the masses because if you're not from the Prem, Spanish pair or Bayern you essentially don't exist.


They can't talk about Juve for 15 minutes without f*cking up but this final's coverage starts 105 minutes before kick off

Hope they have 950 video packages because otherwise it's going to get awkward when they run out of things to say about Messi

I will support Barcelona , but I haven't this certaincy about the winner as many have it . I don't know who will win but I am extremely sure it will be a balanced result.
Serie A is not rated abroad and this influences opinions , but many underrate how much is solid Juve defence ( and stop talking about Chiellini , Barzagli is definitely the best Juve defender ..besides what about Iniesta ? I 've read he did't train these days ...) under Allegri (it was also in Milan tbf) , how much is dangerous their midfield (sso complete) if it is fit , the fact to have a GK as Buffon always great and he comes back to be the best GK in the world in big games.
Besides Juve has a good list of finals lost as favorite team on paper ( Hamburg 82 -the most unexpected with Magath to be still a symbol for anti-Juventini for it ..in my city there are still walls with written grazie magath , Borussia Dortmund 97 -most expected Juve victory also because Borussia was composed by Juve rejects , Rreal Madrid 98 - Mijatovic ,
who scored just in final , reminded yesterday as Juve was rated aas the favorite team and it is rare not rating Real as favorite , Milan 2003 - Juve won league with many points above Milan whio concluded even 3rd ) , now it is not a favorte team b ecause it is  Barca of course , but this history makes the idea about the degree of unprededictability of a CL final , more than many think it .  And the fact Barca destroyed City , PSG and Bayern ( another reason , not the main of course , because I will support them ) counts nothing now.

I think the lack of hype is because of two things, most people, like myself, expecting an easy win for Barcelona, and what RG said, the season's been over for a while and you can talk about a single match only so much - and the talk gets spread out over a couple of weeks.

Meh the loss of Chiellini will be a huge blow for Juventus. Expect a more easy win for Barca now.

Still hope Juve can pull it off tho.

The hype is because of how late the final is, the season ended like two weeks ago lol. So people are struggling to give a shit.

Even I can't get myself hyped for it right now. It's kind of ... meh. 0 nerves.

I don't remember of similar occurrences in the past. If it were up to the media they'd ask the players to pose with their pants down in order to stay fin. relevant. Besides, players are not contractually obliged to dance to the tune of a regional tabloid, and a shitty one at that.
I find it bit disrespectful to the opp. Speaking of, I don't see the Juve camp indulging in such media frenzy.

I see it as a usual thing personally, in England before the FA Cup final they always ask them to pose with the trophy. Even the underdogs, if you want to get at anyone get at the media imo.

Finalists posing with the domestic cup is more of a traditional thing. As it happens even in spain.
But doing so with CL by the heavily projected favs is indeed an act of hubris, atleast in my book. And no I won't blame the media for it, because players are not enslaved to media's whims. They reserve the right to refuse, and expected to behave with professionalism and forethought. This wasn't such instance.
SPORT.es is a catalan tabloid with zero credibility. I don't see why our player should commit or cede to the paper's impulse.
