Re: The Official Mourning of Jerome Boateng
No wonder Balotelli sticks up for him, Boateng had about as much impact on that WC as he did on Inter's CL

Balotelli should worry less about Boateng and more about how early he needs to get up to be at the jobcentre on time this summer

Raul Bobadilla: It's incredible... I was speaking with Dante, and everyone makes fun of Boateng, even his own teammates. They would remind him of the play, the videos they made, the one where he falls in a hole, where he gets shot... with Dante we were laughin a lot before the match because we were speaking in Spanish and figured no one would understand us".
Best angle imo

lmao this beauty deserves a bump.
But lolz ain't the main reason I'm bumping it.
Why was Boateng such a failure at City? Are we just going to blame Mancini for it?

Re: The Official Mourning of Jerome Boateng
It's because his entire prior knowledge to defending was by predicting what the attacker would do because he was an attacker himself. Apparently, he didn't know that the defensive line could be set and coordinated until Pep joined.

Kind of related, but this is a good read, on how he views defending.

That's another of these myths generated by the Pep Confidential book.
Yes, because Jerome Boateng, starting center back of treble winners Bayern, coming of a season with record low goals conceded in the league, having played six professional seasons as left back, right back and center back at four different clubs, under coaches like Huub Stevens, Martin Jol, Mancini and Jupp Heynckes, did not know that a defensive line could be set and coordinated until Pep came and taught him.

Re: The Official Mourning of Jerome Boateng
If Boateng was Swedish, he wouldn't get into our line up. Rubbish defender getting carried by the attackers at Bayern/Germany

Literally not at fault for a single one of the three goals, while playing injured for the lst 20 minutes.
Hope Real Madrid sign Draxler.

Re: The Official Mourning of Jerome Boateng
Whoscored gave him a 6.1 so he sucked and deserved any criticism.
