I am not hating here. I am pretty sure Conte would have gone to the semis this year if he stayed. They got worst Dortmund since 2009 and Monaco in quarters. This is the easiest draw Allegri ever had in the CL and he did not have the legends in MilanLab gifting him 432543 injuries.

The series of games he had against Barça in the CL that saw him go almost neck and neck with them even though his side was seen as the underdogs. It originated from there.

How can people be judging SEXXXLEGRI? Why are people brushing aside Juve as if they have the least amount to pass to the finals? I think Real Madrid are the weakest ATM, just saying.

'Neck to neck' is cutting it by the teeth, 1 win in 8 games against the with them progressing past us/finishing in top of the group

@M99, you say Conte would have made it to the semis but I totally disagree. Conte plays anybody just to play his 3-5-2 formation, with ALWAYS playing the Starting XI in Serie A, CL, Coppa Italia, Friendlly Matches, etc. Hell, even Buffon would play CB to cover injuries to fit a 3-5-2. Allegri has developed a tactical flexibility, utilizing 4-3-1-2 / 4-3-3 / 3-5-2 depending on the opposition and his available players, the development and use of bench players and resting key players when needed.

Lastly, Conte always moaned and complained about the quality of his team when he was in the CL and lost a game or when paired up with big teams.

I think Allegri can take Juventus farther than Conte.

Conte took Juve to the quarter finals where they lost to a dominate Bayern team.

Faced Atletico 8 times this season, Bayern twice in semis these past years Barca also a lot.

In recent years, there has always been an underdog (or sometimes two) in the semi-finals of the CL which on paper seems unable to measure up to the other three (two), but somehow at least one underdog reaches the final, and sometimes they even win it (Chelsea (2012), Inter (2010),...:

2014 CL semi-final (both underdogs went to the final):
Bayern: Favorites.
Real Madrid: Underdog.

Atlético: Underdog.
Chelsea: Favorites.

2013 CL semi finals (One underdog went to the final):
Real Madrid: Favorite.
Dortmund: Underdog.

Bayern:Favorite.
Barça: Underdog.

2012 CL semi finals (both underdogs went to the final):
Real Madrid: Favorite.
Bayern: Underdog.

Barça: Favorite.

I think Juventus will reach the final this year. (could be wrong though, it's just a guess based on recent years' illogical turn of events).

They won't win the CL, but they'll reach the final.
