It just sounded that way based on how you wrote your post. Glad we agree though.

Please view the Revenant trailer and comment. Looks amazing.

Hardy has a real shot at both acting oscar nomination

Looks like there's already 4 locks in best actor
Tom Hardy - Legend
Leo - Revenant
Depp - Black Mass
Redmayne - Danish Girl (no way a transgender role won't get nominated this year).

maybe Fassbender as Jobs.

I think Inarritu directed almost the entire film with natural lighting. That's why it took so long to complete production, it kept getting dark and cloudy Laughing Hopefully Tom Hardy is now free to work on Splinter Cell

Not almost, pretty sure the entire film is natural light. Lubezki is completing his hattrick this year, willing to bet my sig forever for that Proud

Took like 7 months to film or something, insane for any movie.

Hardy really wants to do Splinter Cell, so I think it'll happen sometime. Also certain he has a deal with WB/DC for a franchise for him.

Leo not doing a film in 2014 made the whole *bleep* year depressing. I've been anticipating this for a long time, more than any other film tbh.

Can't wait for all the people in this film. Everyone's great. Can't wait to see Domnhall, and Paul Anderson (seriously, how many Paul Andersons do we need in Hollywood?) who was so amazing in Peaky Blinders.

Creed, The Martian, Black Mass, The Revenant, Hateful Eight. Can't freaking wait for these films. Tom Hardy's year though, pretty stellar.

@OsmondMark - A fantastic evening at the screening of Legend….Tom Hardy was amazing. Go see in September.

‏@sandickins - See Legend! Amazing film with mind blowing performances especially from Tom Hardy

princesscoocoo - Interesting Q&A with huge #talent #writer #director #BrianHelgeland after the immensely entertaining #Legend #TomHardy gives groundbreaking #performances as the two #Kray twins #Reggie and #Ronnie transforming himself, his voice, the timing of his delivery impeccable. Stunning cinema and witty dialogue. A great ride all the way. #Legendthefilm

‏@mushenska - Legend was really, really good. Tom Hardy completely chilling as both Krays.

‏@padster - Tom Hardy is stupendously good in Legend. Two stunning performances. But Emily Browning is the key to the film.

‏@brianftang - Went to see a screening of Tom Hardy Krays flick Legend tonight. Liked a lot, it’s very well done.

‏@SachaBennett - Very pleased to say that Tom Hardy is doubly brilliant in @LegendTheFilm – both performances are stand out and drive the film.

‏@sothcott - LegendTheFilm is the best British gangster film of our generation and #TomHardy similarly the finest actor. See it at the cinema

Hype train has left the station.

No idea either. But I've never seen anyone play a drunken f'ed up character that loves to fight as well. My favourite regular role by far in that show. He deserved an emmy, but that show is way too under the radar I guess.

Honestly I fell in love with Peaky Blinders because of Cillian Murphy and Paul Anderson. Everyone else is just a bonus (like the strong female characters and Alfie Solomons ffs).

Meh. I would have been happy with it if I had just watched it at home on my laptop rather than waste money on it.

Wouldn't watch it on my laptop ever tbh. Only enjoyable in any way in the cinema. Not a great film by any means, but I enjoyed the action, even though it didn't always have the best of reasons for being the way it was all the time. Also Chris Pratt being the only legit character in it was awful.

Emmanuel Lubezki is the Cinematographer of Terrence Malick's Knight of Cups as well.

I really don't like Terrence Malick's films. No matter how creative he thinks he is, just full on boredom mode throughout all of his films.

It is boring tbh. But then I respect his style of film making.
Liked Tree of Life for its real portrayal of youth and innocence. His other films are a bit outworldy and superficial, his later films mainly I think.
But then cinematography (mostly Lubezki I think) and that grand canvas he makes his films, kind of makes it a little bit interesting and visually stimulating. Story wise one needs to be at his same level to understand what he is meaning or if he is meaning anything at all for that matter hehe.
