Freeza wrote:Sicario the new film with Emily Blunt directed by Denis Villenueve is a huge hit at Cannes, got a 6 minute standing ovation. This director is awesome and Blunt is my favorite actress with Chastain so can't wait for it
Probably my most anticipated of the year after The Revenant and Hateful Eight just because Denis Villeneuve.
Apparently Benecio Del Toro is GOAT in it, he needs something like that tbh.

I loved it so much. No idea how Shannon wasn't nominated for that performance.
In what world was Brad Pitt in Moneyball better than him?

Back from Mad Max
I am lost for words I am crying ffs. Wow
Holy shit man. I have never seen something like this in my life.
One of the only times I wanted to give this a standing ovation at the end.
It's an absolute masterpiece. I don't even like action films that much but this is truly one of the greatest films I've ever seen or will ever see.
How did George Miller make something like this? The direction was the best I've seen in any film. It's impossible to make something this good He absolutely schooled every direction alive.
Acting was brilliant by everyone.
Characters were amazing.
Soundtrack 10/10
Directing was 10/10
I can't get over how good some of the scenes were
I would advice you guys to really make the effort and watch it in cinema. This deserves to make as much money as possible. And I hope it gets as many awards as possible.
Think it's the highest rating I've given to a film
9.6/10

- Spoiler:
THAT bike sequence when they went over the truck to throw grenades was insane.
That guitar guy
That scene where Rosie came under the wheel. Holy shit.
People actually died. It was so realistic. No plot holes. No defying the odds.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Never felt this emotion after watching a film
If you rated this as one of your all time greats than obviously this was going to be good. But never expected it to be THIS good.
Guys please please watch it in cinema.
Saw the trailer for San Andreas before the film. Couldn't stop laughing at how bad it looked. But it will make more money probably Just like that garbage pitch perfect 2

If I was going to take a guess, I'd think Mad Max could make more than Pitch Perfect in the US. Will make more internationally tbh.

I really hope DC hires Miller to make a film. He can definitely deliver.

Miller is almost guaranteed a DC property tbh, a lot of reports saying that.
He'd be the right kind of guy that could deliver the gritty weird film Aquaman is bound to be. Flash is Lort&Miller's film I'd reckon. Shazam doesn't seem like his kind of film.
Aquaman is the best fit, I'd imagine he get's that one. Maybe he gets a JL film if Snyder gets MoS2.

I think he was actually pretty good. Not that far behind Shannon's performance. But ovbiously star power got him ahead.

Yeah saw Take Shelter for Jessica Chastain. But mah man Michael Shannon stole that film. Should have been nominated for an Oscar.
