Antonelli is having a good start with us, he can be a bit too attacking-minded at times but overall, he's a solid LB

Lol Udinese had no luck in their play offs. The summer they sold Sanchez they were playing against Arsenal and tbh they were really good.

Looking at the ages current Lazio first team they barely have any room for improvement. This will be as good as it gets for them. Inter should get back into the Top 3 next season providing they can hold on to Icardi, Shaqiri, Kovacic etc for another year.

Yeah, as djfawnz said... I would prefer to see Milan and Inter in the top three as much as I hate to say it (especially for Inter lol). They would do much better in europe IMO. Look at Dortmund this season, Milan last season. Even though they don't do well in their leagues, they still are considered in Europe. I won't rate Lazio as a great team in Europe. It is an emerging, just how Napoli were few years ago. Where are Napoli now? Having their days, one day on, the other off, incapable of building a strong team for the future. De $$$entis is a greed. If he had kept Lavezzi, Cavani, bought Verrati, then we would be talking about making it to the ECL every year.

Devi.....dont you remember Udi - Benfica? Sampdoria - Werder? Common.....deseeve it or not, i think historic teams would have more grinta than Lazio. Apart from that, lazio doesnt have a squad to battle 3 fronts.

Lmao this is ridiculous, every club has to start somewhere. Udinese is a feeder club that exists purely from the sales of players they develop and find themselves. Lazio are in a much better position.

You're saying if somebody like Lazio became CL regulars, had a massive boost in revenue and an influx of paying fans that they would consistently flop?

But because a club like Inter has a big history, they'd automatically come back in to the CL and do well regardless of their shit team? Ridiculous.

Since I follow football ( 1997 ) Lazio was always a legit club in Europe , I remind Lazio losing a Uefa Cup final against Inter of Ronaldo , winning a Cup Winners' cup and a European Supercup the year after .

And okay omitting the golden Cragnotti era, I can remind for example also a Uefa Cup semi-final in 2003 ( Lazio was going to bankrupt, it was not a top team anymore, but they honored  till the end ) ,   and EL quarter finals just 2 years ago

Now if you take away Milan,Inter,Juve it doesn't look like worse  than others
This thing to compare Lazio with Udinese is just because Lazio is hated because of his fascist ultras ,stop . And ok I can understand they can create dislike to foreign ultras ...  
but personally in Italy  noone  rates Lazio as a danger for Italian ranking  , we often make these speechees but we take as  example club as  Udinese ( firstly , infact it is bsaically despised by other fans for this reason)  .. but hardly you listen it about Lazio , we don't get why they should do worse than others.. the fact to have been knocked out by Ludogortes can't be a prejudice , otherwise I can remind Roma got knocked out by Panatinaikos in 2010 , in that year they bottled it against Sampdoria so they had everything to win the cup... and what we must say about Napoli before of Benitez ? Lazio was very bad last year because basically they pulled out the plug because of that Coppa Italia won against Roma , they lived on the fat of the land , they celebrated it exceedingly , because Roma is this , the derby is everything and if it means a final won it counts even more . The environment pulled out the plug thinking to celebrate the derby for those 3 summer months , with the fans to make the mexican wake on every 71' minute of every match ( 71' is the minute when Lulic scored the goal ) .. their season never begun really because they were   extremely satiated and they woke up when the league was going to take a turn for the worst with a shit placement compared to Roma fighting for title..
But anyway their previous 3 league were also good.
They got 4th in 2011 and 5th place in 2012 , and in both leagues they fought  for 3rd place  ( CL place ) until the end .
They lost CL place just for goals difference ! (otherwise got same points than Udinese )  and just for 2 points (always Udinese as 3rd) respectively. In 2013 they didn't get same league but they won Coppa Italia.
Basically Serie A 2014 , the league after the Coppa Italia's drunkenness , was the only negative season than last 5 years.
So I ' d not talk about " they had just a good year.

Lazio is indeed a consistent team .

What is the difference with Fiorentina ?
Fiorentina always gets EL places , but never CL places ( Lazio should get it this year ) , yet noone makes similar speeches with them.

Sampdoria is having just a good year, and infact it risks to be a " danger " for EL place, I am sure they won't get same league next year,  and infact Sampdoria is the real surprise this year. Lazio was close to get CL in past for 2 times so it could be expected this year with no cups, a new manager   and an improved team

Robespierre, Lotito is known to be a stingy president and Lazio hasn't been a force over the last 10 years, bear in mind that I LOVED Edy Reja and Petkovic, liked the fact that Klose found a place he can call home and when Matusalem and Hernanes combined to allow Klose score at the last second of his first derby. But PERSONALLY, I believe that if we want to make the most to get back to having 4 spots in CL, we need teams like Milan, Inter, Napoli and Fiorentina vying for those players. Nobody needs to tell me to gtfo for stating a VALID opinion.
